If you are referring to IT systems; there are various financial management IT systems available on the market for municipalities to use. Municipalities may also opt to use a combination of these systems to manage specific aspects of their financial management processes. It is always advisable for any entity to first identify their needs (what they need such system for) and procure a system that is right for them.
