Calming ingredients and products have helped my acne, you got a great point. Everyone always suggests AHAs and salicylic acid at high percentages and it only irritated my skin. My skin has been better than ever since watching Kelly her suggestions are very helpful. Thanks again 🥰

@@adapv9584 i have the exact skin type as your, always sensitive under the eye area, oily t zone and dry cheeks, and this works Wonders for me, its also really reduce redness and swelling on blind pimple for me, the texture is literally like a water, so perfect for us who dont like heavy layers, i really recommen it 😊

I think they both serve pretty same skin problems and equally good so your skin type is what matters. However I believe the Glow serum is better in terms of fading new acne marks but some peoples skin might react to tamanu oil and crave something more lightweight like the Wishtrend one

I do use retinols every night and since I am prescribed tretinoin 0.05% I do rotate because I also get Curology which a 0.04% and in between I have to have mugwort products from both Missha & I’m From. I also always have the honey propolis serums & toners I love using. One of my all time fave Star ingredients for break outs is centella asiatica! I cannot even describe how much my skin loves that ingredient so I use it all the time especially in serums because my skin is very sensitive & can be acne prone. Thanks for the video Kelly 🧡

Always love all your recommendations. I bought the artemisia essence and my skin just looks so healthy. It’s not glowy glass skin levels, but there’s just a plumpness that I didn’t have before.

I ordered the benton deep green tea toner 2 days ago because of your hydrating toners video. You mentioned that it helps you during breakouts and I immediately registered the toner as a must-buy! I'm really excited to try it out. I already have amazing products in my routine(BHA, niacinamide, snail mucin essence and cream) so I'm hoping the toner will compliment my routine. Crazy how getting the biggest breakout in my life made me a skincare addict. Before this I only had a cleanser, toner and moisturizer from the brand Simple😳 Also : I ordered the cosrx acne patch because apparently they are magic patches from what I heard.

Kelly you’ve been such a saving grace! I wonder, would you be willing to create a video with examples of various skin routines? I know you make so many great points that cover all skin concerns but it would be so helpful to have them in one place. I.e routine for acne concerns, routine for dark spots, routine for dehydration’s etc. Or alternatively, when you make videos such as this one, provide a demonstration of the order you apply the products in. Thanks :)

I have the wishtrend propolis which I got because of your recommendation and have really enjoyed it. After I dermaplan I put it on my face and it helps heal my skin barrier and it never stings. Also the micro darts pimple patches actually work! I was very pleasantly surprised! It went away and I did not pick and damage my skin😀

Fellow pimple popper here 🙋‍♀️ I want to really said thanks for telling me about mugwort as anti acne treatment, it is totally a game changer for me with inflammation and redness 💚 I have not so sensitive skin, so I usually adds aha mask as spot treatment, mugwort mask from I’m from, and then some my usual treatments as mugwort essence and azelaic acid serum. I cover it up with good layer of night cream and all of this really helps to reduce pimples. Wait for my By wishtrend essence to come and looking forward to try it🤗

I'm so happy to have found your channel!!! Your recommendations are extremely helpful! My skin is so sensitive to , well, everything! ^^" I've tried very mild AHA (lactic acid) in very low percentages and only once a week and I've ruined my skin barrier! This was months ago, then I found one of your videos about skin barrier repairing and ohh boy how did it help me! Now I haven't really exfoliated my skin since then, only clay masks every few weeks and I'm gonna try the LHA ampoule in the wishtrend box you've recommended! Maybe I'll try their cream as well :) Thank you Kelly!!! 💜🤗

Have you tried more Houttunyia Cordata products? Although the propolis in the COSRX Polyphenols is already a great add-on if you're looking for a product with a lot of Heartleaf too

My favorite products for when I'm having a breakout are Innisfree Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay mask and the Hanhoo blemish patches! ❤ They both work really well for both me AND my husband. Zits greatly improve overnight, and the little ones disappear. (I have dry skin and I think my husband has normal or combo skin?)

I used the Keep cool toner since you rave about it and I kinda regretted it when I placed the order. I thought how hydrating could a watery toner be and having one is useless. But the first time I used it I was mesmerized of how hydrating it was and also of how dehydrated my skin had been. I had used some other toners and essences before it and the nicest one so far just helped my skin survive a bit longer when I use tret and stay in my workplace where the air condition is on all the time. Since I use this toner there no dryness throughout the day anymore. Its interesting because all the products I buy because of you suit me so well.

Having had a break out in two years and now I’m back at work and my chin is going crazy. I do and use everything you said. The face mask doesn’t care what I do. Having to wear a face mask for 10 hours a day is giving me painful cyst 😿

Just wondering: the products are in the order that you use them? do you use the Time Revolution Artemisia Essence before the toner? So you use your cleansers, than essence, toner and ampoule?

I've had to deal with breakouts recently too =/ This video couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks to you I got the MISSHA mugwort essence a couple of months ago and it has helped my skin so much. I couldn't believe how beneficial it was, helped my serums absorb and work better as well ☺️

The patches somehow psychologically keep me from popping..or trying more than just a little squeeze. They are also a physical barrier to popping I found myself more concerned about loosing them if I touch..so I don't..much

My skin is super irritated right now. So much that it itches and burns. I have had to use my Vanicream to wash my face because everything else burns. I had to simplify everything down to just a moisturizer however my face is still itches incessantly and burns. I have any suggestions for this? I need something very soothing and hydrating. I can't bear the itching and burning.

Do you think centella asiatica extract would work good on inflamed pimples? I think mugwort and cica is so similar in a lot of ways! (soothing, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, healing kinda?) 🌬💆🏻‍♀️😷 My mom said that cica can be eaten but it’s very very bitter. 🤢🤢 (this emoji is so cute) And what do you think about eating houttuynia cordata?? Do you think it has any benefits if I eat it? For my skin I mean... 😅😂😂 I just ate that yesterday for dinner beside other dishes. It’s actually quite delicious, it taste a little bit sour. Centella is similar to mugwort and definitely great for acne! I've never eaten these ingredients but I'll bet they're overall healthy. I'm not sure they'll be incredibly helpful for specific skin concerns (nothing could beat just putting it directly on your skin) but I do believe an overall healthy diet contributes to good skin.

Nikole. I have also been looking for a Cruelty Free Mugwort First Essence. Even in First Essences there doesn't appear to be ANY that are CF. :( I'm DYING to try Mugwort so I texted the Purito company through their IG and asked if they had thought about creating one... :) Haven't heard back yet though...

I'd recommend something with niacinamide like the benton or purito has a 5% niacinamide serum.

Hi Kelly ! I wanted to buy the missha artemisia essence thanks to your videos but I saw some people saying that it burned their skin and they had a bad reaction... Would you still recommend it for sensitive skin ? 🥰 Oh and how did you introduce fermented products to your routine ?

I have sensitive skin and I do recommend it! I actually used this when my skin was damaged from essential oil irritation and it was so healing. The thing is some people have individual sensitivities and that just can't be accounted for unless you try something for yourself. Just like any new skincare product it should be introduced into your routine in isolation (aka, nothing else new for about a week) to see how your skin does with it.

Honestly I think what would fix most of my breakouts is to stop picking at my skin 😬 I don't get big pimples so they're always the ones that never really "develop" and then go away, so I end up trying to extract these tiny pimples and then I end up with like 5 gashes on my cheeks that look horrible 🤦

It's such a terrible habit but soo hard to break!! I play a game with myself, if I can't get anywhere with the pimple after 3 pushes I have to stop. I also often tell myself that I will look worse after popping/attempting to pop than if I just leave my skin alone. These things seem to help, also pimple patches are good at just hiding the area so you aren't tempted.

I have been experiencing comedones while using the paulas choice azelaic acid. Anyone with a similar experience or having breakouts while starting azelaic acid?

I have but only with paulas choice. I think it’s because it’s a fairly occlusive formula. The ordinary and facetheory have good azelaic acid products and I didn’t have any breakouts with either product.
