Might have better luck in Manson pre roar as they cross over from ngamatea

@@huntingforadventure9977 got a wee 7 pointer but it was pretty tough hunting. Not the typical spring / summer massacre!

Awesome video mate. Great to follow along listening to your experience in action. Just got myself a suitable rifle so looking forward to getting into some stalking for something different to the hiking stuff. Cheers

Awesome little tips and commentary in there mate. Sometimes I think I miss out on seeing a lot of deer because of moving to slow when there aren't many deer in the immediate area. Might have to move a bit faster. I am definitely not covering half the distance in a morning to lunch hunt that you are. My dog has really just started coming on now so looking forward to getting a few more over her. Thanks for the vid was great watching. Hoping to get in there for a day hunt this weekend. Cheers

thanks for the kind comment. its a mix of moving fast when not in a deer zone and slowing it right down in the hot spots.

@@huntingforadventure9977 hey mate do you go by sign or vegetation type when looking for the "zone". See heaps of areas in there with heaps of feed vegetation but little sign around. Especially down lower.
@huntingforadventure9977 Жыл бұрын
terrain type and vegetation density are what im really getting clues off. Might do a video on it one day show some high % ways to get a deer

Well done, nice to see a well behaved dog doing its job. Any tips on training Neo? Great looking country, been 12months since I have been in Kaipo area and I am missing it.
