smileforhiba I grew up in western society and my school offered scientific based sex ed but they still told us this. It isn't true though, which is what I don't understand, it is such a lie.
@therebex237 жыл бұрын
Although I've heard of this, and don't believe in it, I used tampons before I lost my virginity and also bled when it happened..I've also bled from sex after losing my virginity. As a sex-educated person, I know that bleeding from sex is either due to having your period or not having enough lubrication. Bleeding has nothing to do with being "pure" or "unclean."

I took birth control pills for a little more than 3 years mainly for dermatological reasons. Everything was going well, but then I just started feeling weak, feeling sleepy all day and with no strenght at all. After some blood exams, doctors noticed that the pill had caused me elevated triglycerides and cholesterol. So in my opinion, girls please go to a doctor before starting using something new, just as Lucie said! Be safe!

When I was on the pill I never had any problems. Every birth control is different for everyone. Find what works for you!

How are people excited over the fact that they implanted something in their arm that has now stopped their periods! Do not normal! Science isn’t always right, not enough long term research has been done! You have no idea how that stuff can harm you or your future children (if you choose to reproduce) in the future. Women are designed to have periods, it’s not healthy to take them away.

Listening to the women recount how painful and difficult their experiences with various types of birth control have been is so sad and honest. This could all be avoided by a man having a vasectomy, which is reversible. Or a man helping to take on some of the burden by taking male birth control--which was in human trials but did not make it to the market because a small percentage of men complained about migraines and mood swings (just, wow). Our society both shames women for having sex and for not having sex, for getting pregnant and choosing to have a child and for choosing to not have a child. As women we often shoulder the burden of methods child prevention and then suffer all of the consequences when those methods fail us.
@sarahclark9196 жыл бұрын
Rocio Tia I agree that birth control is a big burden that falls on women... I've tried multiple hormonal methods and ended up in the hospital once and once I bled for 3 months straight... however a vasectomy isn't always reversible and the male birth control had some more severe side effects as far as I know:/ I hope in the future there will be better options (nonhormonal ideally) for women as well as men to have sex without having to worry about pregnancy or stds :)
@marissafernandez986 жыл бұрын
Rocio Tia so with you on that one why do we have to take all these things that are most of the time painful and they just have to worry sometimes about a condom
@NessaNote6 жыл бұрын
Completely relate to being shamed for not having sex. For me, I am 23 and haven’t found a partner to share that experience with. I’ve been made fun of and put down for that choice since I was 15.
@tessastilley8256 жыл бұрын
There were multiple issues with male birth control. Some men became unable to ever have kids and others became depressed and suicidal, one man succeeded. They stopped testing to reformulate and try again, just like they do with every drug. I mean no ill will when I say please don’t perpetuate things you have not researched. I think it’s sad that some people feel really bad for the women who talk about their bad experiences with birth control, but don’t care about the male birth control victims. Again I don’t mean you as you seem to be ignorant to the facts (that wasn’t meant to be insulting) but those who know the facts and still perpetuate this idea that men got a witty bitty headache so they dropped out. Another logical reason that male birth control isn’t a thing yet isn’t because men don’t want to deal with it, but that it’s way easier to stop one egg a month then thousands of sperm a day. There are also many feminists that don’t want male birth control because it takes that power out of women’s hands. Some women go off birth control on purpose to trick their boyfriend into staying with them, some men would be happy to have male birth control. Women suffer all the consequences of birth control failure? Are you kidding me? Child support, no say in if she gets an abortion (some pro life men consider it murder. I agree they should have no right to tell her she has to get a abortion) Almost always lose custody battles. Tell me more about how they never suffer any consequences. You can’t drag men for no reason. I’m a woman in case you were wondering.

Karmylla I think, although these sexual topics are great to explore, sexual experiences should start with proper and basic sexual education - it's not so much that they "forgot" about it, but rather that that is further steps beyond the basics that need to be the foundation whether it is "vanilla" sex or "fetish" sex.
@xKarmylla7 жыл бұрын
Certainly, but that is what this video is about, basic sex education. What I proposed should be done in a next video, if the team felt they should. Thankfully, it might happen in the future.

On the birth control methods I hope that people take the implant into consideration. I think everyone should look at all options and see which works best for your situation and body but the implant works really well for me and should be considered because insertion is easy, very effective, easy to take out, there are side effects but I haven’t experienced any bad ones. I just hope that every woman knows that there is a method out there for you and birth control is your right and your choice

Another form of birth control is a shot. The one I use is a 3 month shot. I just get it in my arm or my hip, and I'm fine for 12 weeks, and it's over 90 something % effective. It's been great, and it's fantastic if you're a busy person, or you think you'll forget to take a pill, bc after you get a shot you just make a note or reminder for yourself in 12 weeks, get another one really quick and you're out again.
