What I learned from this video is there is likely a door trapped with TNT minecarts somewhere on the hermitcraft server still waiting to be activated by its victim

The 2nd one is like balancing a bucket of water on a door, so who ever opens it gets wet- but instead with TNT minecarts and more deadly.

Imagine putting a block of diorite in Iskall's base and it blowing up when he mines it, how did no one think to do that in demise?

I think you could add TNT minecarts to any scaffolding structure that you think someone will remove without checking to see what is on top.

I know it's an old video, but for anyone wondering 5 TNT minecarts kill a player in 3/4 Prot 4 Netherite with an Eltra, and you need 7 to kill a player in full Prot 4 Netherite armor, hope this helps :)

my favorite trap is a trapped chest with a tnt block besides it and maybe a sign on the chest with something like "free diamonds". the trick is: below the tnt block is an observer triggering a whole bunch of tnt minecarts

What people don't seem to realise is that you don't need to have TNT minecarts colliding. The overlapped ones are already in a state of collision, so the tiniest movement blows them up.

The scaffolding trap tho, as soon as they see the rail they'll either run or be suspicious. And when they see the falling carts they'd run

Dang these do some massive damage! I love these. My group has rules about traps though. We can't damage each others build so have to be creative with this stuff.

I found a landmine(-Edit 1) Design that will likely one-shot Ravagers at ~150 (~75 Icons of) damage. ·> Clear out a 3×2×3 cross-shaped hole. ·> Place [1 Redstone Dust below the ground with a Pressure Plate above it] in the middle. ·> Place a Powered Rail on each side of the Redstone Dust. ·> Place 10 TNT Minecarts on each Powered Rail.

Dude actually they would look up cuz looking at scaffolding is so satisfying and then log out when they see TNT Minecarts.

With the troll trap the first hint to your unstoppable demise is the rails landing before the minecarts

Hey Cub, wouldn't the last one make a great ore miner? You have to set it up again and again, but it gives you time to get out of the way and if they all hit at the same time you will stay under the 5 explosion maximum, so no blocks will be lost.

I enjoyed cubfans traps a lot in hermitcraft season 6, he really spiced it up. Now for the challenge: non tnt minecart traps?

If HermitCraft had a police force, this video would implicate you in the first degree murder of Mumbo Jumbo and possibly a manslaughter charge against iJevin (although I'm sure your lawyers could convince a court that iJevin probably would've killed himself accidentally anyways after showing footage of him crashing into Mumbo's base like a nearsighted bird)

There’s also the simple gravel on top of tnt if it’s in a cave, with pressure plates and a door. Player will assume pressure plates are for door openning but they’re actually for making u fall and explode

Best trap: Luring someone into a house made of tnt but it's all carpeted and hidden behind extra layers, human touch trigger, blows up

Cubfan is the master of traps.

Some other traps.. End portal trap without entering the end: TNT variant: Throw TNT or TNT carts into the portal. Assuming it is not loaded, as would be the case if nobody is on the main end island, they will not detonate or experience any time. They will immediately activate when someone enters the portal. Mob variant: locate one of the end portals that other players do not use. Excavate the area above it and create a mob grinder-like tower. Ensure all mobs flow into the end portal with minimal damage. Multiple creepers will immediately begin detonating when someone enters the portal and they will very likely die immediately. If not, they'll be very low on health no matter how good their armor is and skeletons, zombies, or similar should finish them. This trap is annoying to fight against because it can be active with an AFK player sitting unresponsive at a mob tower in the overworld, so it can be reset without entering the end. Downward single use player cannon in the end: create a bridge between the end platform and the main end Island and build a staiway embedded in the endstone. Upon activating a tripwire, at the roof, an observer back one block in the roof triggers a detonation above the player. The floor is secretly a hollow hole to the void. The goal is that the player is launched far enough into the void that totem of undying, Elytra, etc cannot save them.

Do one where TNT minecarts go off when someone tries to respawn the dragon. This is possible because if you put on observer looking at one of the bedrock pieces of the exit portal, you can detect when somebody tries to respawn the dragon.

The amount of players I’ve caught out just placing a couple of tnt minecarts on a scaffolding pillar is quite amusing.

For all you Bedrock chumps like me -- Observers don't recognize Redstone Ore activating, so unfortunately that sweet secret pressure-plate won't work :

To make it more devastating, put like 2,000 tnt minecarts on the track to crash the server

7:10 for the end portal trap you only need one tnt minecart on the side and its gonna be enough to kill any player since they will inevitably fall off with the explosion
