The Quad Drive drivers do change modes but they dont have most of the gimmicks and they have weaker springs. (The mode change isnt even that important when the quality and gimmicks arent in effect.)

i like the mode changing driver especially on fafnir, the attack mode reminds me of the nothing break gimmick from drain or mirage fafnir, it's a big whole flat, and the other mode is just a usual stamina type perfomance tip so it's average, and btw the gimmick of vanish fafnirs driiver didnt really do much it would help with spin stealing but it isnt very competitive so i dont think it would affect putting more gimmicks.

Most of the QD Drivers have strong springs, I believe Assault-QD and a few others are known for being fairly tight.

I was ok when hasbro didn't have stickers because they printed/painted them in the past and as any lego fan will tell you stickers are annoying af but now they remove gimmicks, have no stickers and little to no details printed/painted on them.

the thing about the Kick driver from the Takara Tomy Fafnir is that without the Tapered, it can maximize it's LAD and the tip on Kick is shaped to move around like an attack type when at maximum speed, but far more stable than the Nothing driver and it's special move Nothing Break. Basically, the Hasbro driver for Vanish fafnir just separated Kick's attributes with different modes.

in competetive aspect, takara tomy is better, although if you're into really fun battles and like seeing beyblades burst a lot, i'd say go with hasbro.

Takara Tomy battles are better than hasbro ones definitely, they’re heavier and have bigger impacts than hasbro beys that burst within 2 seconds.

Turbo started the trend of removing "gimmicks" by removing metal and rubber for fafnir no POM plastic for eternal at least the cho-z beys retained their burst stoppers, but the first bey to be stripped of their gimmick was strike god valkrie.

It's Beyblade burst Dynamite Battle, and has no attack wheel, it's called a DB Blade. The metal is the core, it's the armor.

That's because the rubber doesn't actually absorb in the way peopel think. Beybaldes will slwoly down while interacting with rubber contact. Any left spinning bey will seem like they are spin stealing. Equalization is the term

I feel like the gimmicks are kinda just extra weight. Metal Fight didn't have many gimmicks, and I personally feel it was better. No serious differences between TT and Hasbro. Burst however, every bey is entirely different between them
