5 Easy Tricks For Intermediate Skateboarders
If you've been following along with the easy beginner and easy intermediate trick videos that I've done, you should be ready to step it up into some of the more traditional tricks that I present in this video. These are some fun and relatively easy ones that I think are definitely worth learning.

i do perfect varial flips and still don't know how to kiclflip lol update 11 months forward: i randomly landed a kickflip when i tried one for fun and I've been doing them since.its also true that you'll get the varial more consistently after that.

Just try a lot the 180 version. The regular no comply is definitely way harder.

Think of the 180 no comply as a regular Ollie 180 but your front knee doesn’t go up with the board.

I learned varial flips before kickflips. For me it was a lot easier to learn the flicking motion while the board was spinning, when i was learning kickflips i would always flick too much off the nose causing the tail of the board to point upwards and hit my nuts.

It’s kind of an embarrassing question I guess but I don’t understand what you mean by frontside and backside on these. It was my understanding that like a frontside 180 is a 180 where 90 degrees into the turn the front of you is facing forward. I love skating but it’s hard for me to distinguish the differences between a hardflip and a kickflip varial. Maybe I’m deficient. It’s been quite awhile since I skated last.

Help me! My board snapped and ive had this walmart board in my garage for a long time, if I move my trucks an all that to the other board will it work just as fine? (id also need new griptape) or should i just invest into a real board?

Ngan Phan that always happens to me when I delay my pop too much or have my back foot too far forward. If you pop a little faster and get your back wheels off the ground just a little bit sooner than your foot drag, the bolts will come with your foot pads instead of being left behind.

A good way to fix this is to just practice the tail pop itself. When the back wheels lift from the ground and your front foot is staying on the board but not slowing it down or lifting away from it, your pop is timed perfectly and you can start practicing the full Ollie. You can also try setting a camera on the ground to make sure your front foot is in the drag position while your back wheels are temporarily off the ground.
