Upgrade templates are not exclusive to the treasure room bastion. They also spawn in other bastion chests at a 10% chance, as opposed to a 100% chance from a treasure room chest.

Guys if you are playing on bedrock you can find netherite upgrade templates in the housing units aswell. I am not sure about all the others but you will most likely find some in the housing units in bedrock edition as that is where i found 3.

Another way to find debris is on any level of a lava pool if u have fire resistance debris should spawn very common in lava pools because it is not exposed

I just went around Y level 12 just stripped out lots of Nether rack found the Ancient blocks more often but it spawned lots of Skeletons in open spaces

The best way for bedrock user is put your 1 ancient debris in the chest (remember keep your inventory empty means after you put the debris your inventory need to be empty )and after 7 second remove the game form background and again join the game and see it will double😊😊 thank me after u use t😊😊

I used a bed method, using them as explosives, game glitched said invalid game item. Error then killed me, lost all my stuff, game crashed, lost the world, I'm a new Minecraft player for 1.20, the devs made finding netherite wayyy too hard,

I mean, you don’t *need* Netherite armor, fully enchanted Diamond is pretty much just as good for a survival world unless you’re playing hardcore, or just want the best armor. Requiring the player to explore and get an upgrade template makes the game have more risk, more reward, more exploring, and more reason to just play the game. I don’t think it should just be as simple as, “mine ores and then craft armor!” It’s nice to have a change once in a while.

For the whole process of finding ancient debris I literally just use my fully enchanted pickaxe and netherite armour. Once mending goes down for the pickaxe I look for quartz. For your information though you'll need at least a diamond pickaxe to mine ancient debris.

You should be able to change your world settings to show coordinates, you won’t have a hotkey like Java but whenever I play bedrock I just go into the settings, turn on show coordinates, coords are done in XYZ format so if you were seeing 150, 15, 200 150 would be your X, 15 your Y, and 200 your X! Hope this helps!!

i actually like it more, it makes netherite a bit more valuable instead of just being a quick simple upgrade from diamond (a slight buff to netherite would be nice though since its very barely stronger than diamond armor)
