Күн бұрын

In this video we will be talking about how to move on in life from the philosophy of the Buddha. Gautama Buddha was a philosopher, a spiritual leader and is credited as the founder of Buddhism.
Buddha’s most essential teaching includes the Three Marks of Existence, which are as follows:
01. Annica which means that life is in a constant flux, we have already made a video on this, the link for this is in the description.
02. Dukkha which means that life is painful and causes suffering, and
03. Anatta which means that the self is always changing
According to Buddhism, our "self" is made up of five things, which they call "The Five Aggregates of clinging." These are:
01. Our physical body, our form,
02. How we feel about things, our feelings,
03. How we see and understand the world, our perception,
04. Our consciousness, which is our awareness, and
05. Our thoughts and emotions, our mental formations.
But none of these things on their own represent our true, unchanging self because they all change over time. So, "anattā" doesn't mean "no self" but rather "no permanent self." It reminds us that nothing in life stays the same forever, including ourselves. Understanding this concept of "non-self" can help us let go of things and move on in life. It can make us feel free and independent.
So here are six ways that you can use the idea of "non-self" to help you move on in life from the wisdom of buddha -
01. Live In The Present
02. Embrace Change
03. Be Grateful
04. Increase Your Confidence
05. Forgive
06. Be Compassionate
I hope you enjoyed watching the video and hope these lessons from Buddha will help you in moving on in your life.
The Buddha was a philosopher, meditator, spiritual teacher, and religious leader who is credited as the founder of Buddhism. He was born as Siddhartha Gautama in India in 566 BC into an aristocratic family and when he was twenty-nine years old, he left the comforts of his home to seek the meaning of the suffering he saw around him. After six years of arduous yogic training, he abandoned the way of self-mortification and instead sat in mindful meditation beneath a bodhi tree. On the full moon of May, with the rising of the morning star, Siddhartha Gautama became the Buddha, the awakened one. The Buddha wandered the plains of northeastern India for 45 years more, teaching the path or Dharma he had realized in that moment. Around him developed a community of people, drawn from every tribe and caste, devoted to practicing this path. Nowadays, he is worshiped by most Buddhist schools as the enlightened one who has escaped the cycle of birth and rebirth, transcending Karma. Their main teachings focus on their insight into duhkha meaning “suffering” and into Nirvana, which means the end of suffering.

*These words are not mine.* These are the words the Ruach HaKodesh (YAHUAH's Set-Apart Spirit) uttered through me when I prayed to YAHUAH; asking him what *he wants* me to say, knowing the truth. "Know that YAHUAH is the name of the Most High and YAHUsha is the name of The Son. Come out of her, my people, who have fallen into her deceit. Who know not my name and say they love me. I have made myself known. I have heard you and I am here. There are many who are yours to be saved. I am he who knows all that you are. Come to me, here are they who are mine. Make haste to come, here are we. Give in to them who speak of me, they are yours. I am here for you. Know that all is for them, here are we. Give not to them that are against me. I am he who sees all you do. Come to me out of her, all are here for me. Do what I say. Out of her, come. All are here." Exodus 3:13-15 KJV 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, the Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations. John 5:43 KJV 43 *I am come in my Father's name,* and ye receive me not: *if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.* 2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and *touch not the unclean thing;* *and I will receive you.* Isaiah 52:6-7 KJV 6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I. 7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! 2 Corinthians 6:1-2 KJV 1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. 2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) Romans 10:1-3 KJV 1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Romans 10:13-17 KJV 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 *How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?* 15 *And how shall they preach, except they be sent?* as it is written, *How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!* 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. *For Esaias saith,* Lord, *who hath believed our report?* 17 *So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.* Nahum 1:7 KJV 7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and *he knoweth them that trust in him.* Hebrews 3:15 KJV 15 *While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.* Isaiah 52:11 KJV 11 *Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing;* go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the Lord. John 14:15 KJV 15 *If ye love me, keep my commandments.*

It’s hard being in the present moment like when you’re really hungry it’s really painful but sometimes there’s nothing you can do because you’re frozen or you have no one to call or you can’t call; it’s called hell.

I love this video on how you can apply Buddha's teachings to help you move on in life, especially the segment about forgiveness. (But I would change the title of this video because these six ways are not necessarily easy to practice.)

Non self points at a profound truth, this truth is that we humans fall into a trap where we mistake this automatic process of change for an intrinsic being. Grasping at life with all its ups and downs as our very own and not realizing this is not who and what we are. This is just a happening that the appearing universe is processing and it will never stop this either. There’s a very nice story between a self proclaimed arhat named Bahiya wanted to see if he was truly awakened and sought out the Buddha. He traveled really far and encountered Gautama, by the end of their conversation Bahiya became a true arhat and passed away a short time after their encounter.

Is it still forgiveness if I have no bad feelings towards the other, who hurt me, but I have no interest to interact with them? I mean having no feelings at all towards them and erasing them completely from my life? The reason for that is not a grudge, but lack of time and energy, so I have to choose with whom I spend the time...

In Buddhism how could we handle situationd like the one we are living in this moment when the world seems to be in the brink of WW3? How could we say "everything is gonna be ok and I just have to go on with my life"?

You have to think this, I'm not telling about religion OK but I have a religion.. just think we are born alone and we have to go someday(come&go). but we don't know that day. so power ,Greed, envy Hate, lust for power, those things are attractive to people. Some people are think life is a race and they miss the beautiful things of life.. we have to think deep with great balance. we can't stop wars. look that war , ''hamas - Israel'' the people or kids who in gaza now they will be the Future terrorists because hate,Greed and like I said before. so I think this is like a loop when we stop that loop we can win this. life is too short you know that. better thing is live with understanding. we have to think about things in many ways..so I think there is no like "every thing is gonna be ok". every single story has a sad end! this is a very few thoughts..I can say more... have a nice day

Does anyone know, is it still living in the past if you miss someone? And can't accept they're Gone? My sister used my love for her children as emotional blackmail and used her children as pawns in a game of psychological warfare (she's just like Ruby Franke is the perfect way to describe her!). she Poisoned her kids against me! Now they hate me based on lies. How do I move on? Its terrible what experienced because she has our mother paying her rent and I am independently well off. After all the money I gave to raise those kids??? She cut me off because I got married. My new husband didn't want us giving her so much money. We wanted to start our own family and buy a home! Now I'm alienated and I'm trying to figure out how to move on.
