5 English idioms about fashion and clothing || English vocabulary in Milan's fashion district!

In this video, I am going to teach you 5 English idioms that you can use to talk about fashion and clothing. We will also take a walk in the "Quadrilatero della Moda" or the fashion district of the city of Milan in Italy.
English Language is full of vocabulary, idioms, nouns and verbs about Fashion and clothing. Fashion and clothing is an inseparable part of our daily life. Therefore, it is important to know how to talk about fashion and clothing in English language. In this video, I am not going to teach you the names of items of clothing. Rather, I will teach you 5 cool idioms that you can use to talk about fashion and clothing. Below is the list of idioms with sections for your convenience:

00: 25 Introducing the fashion district of Milan: Milan is one of the world fashion capitals in the world (together with Paris, New York and London". There is a luxurious neighborhood in the city known as "Quadrilatero della Moda" where the most famous fashion brands have stores. Examples are Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Alexander McQueen, Prada, Jacob Cohen, Il Bisonte, Gianni Chiarini Firenze, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Chloe and Dior (I will show you all these stores in the video! Bonus for fashion lovers!)

Certainly, when you're spending this much money like a druken sailor on these branded stuff, it's better to have latest fashion sense under your belt. Imagine, you're a penny - pincher, and somehow manage to buy something expensive and then someone tells you that the thing is now out of fashion.

Thanks for the eternity, Madi Sir. I have learned so far from your channel. For the first idiom, I think it comes from the people's action that they roll up the sleeves of their shirts before doing a hard or busy job like lifting a heavy load or being about to cook a big and delicious meal for the family so that they can be comfortable and easy for their movement . I had not heard this from others ,it is just my opinion .

One should follow the fashion at some extent...We should not get mad after it....I always prefer to buy items which i like ...and they should be at reasonable price. ..so that's why i do shopping when there is huge discounts at brand stores😁

1) No, I don't think it is completely necessary for people. As long as their clothes are comfortable and simple for themselves. In addition, shopping is optional depending on their living style. 2) I would say no as some people including the elderly are not interested in new trends and fancy clothes to cope with society. Moreover, If we had to focus on the newest version, we will have to spend more time and effort on it, which will greatly reduce our current either studying or work efficiency and time. To be perfectly honest, I am not a shopaholic but window shopping and exploring in the library is my cup of tea..
