In this video, Conor delves into the heart of the tools available with the Beatport Studio membership using 5 essential instruments, all within the included digital audio workstation - Cubase LE.
We start out with a handpicked drum loop from Loopcloud Sounds to kickstart the track. Next up, we unleash the raw power of Audio Blast’s Acidbox and get to work crafting some acid house bassline grooves to fill out the low end of the track.
Forging ahead, Bleass Alpha takes the stage, allowing us to craft a chord stab progression that is simultaneously rhythmic and harmonic. To complement this, Conor draws for Klevgrand’s Jussi for a synth lead that provides the ingredients for a perfect hook.
We call upon Initial Audio’s Sektor next to play in a descending plucked string melody to keep the sounds driving. Finally, we wrap up with an intense hypersaw patch from the mighty Wave OSC.
