5 Extreme Room Makeovers from Start to Finish

In this video I make over five different rooms: a living room, a basement family room, a kitchen, a master bedroom, and a small bedroom. The master bedroom is done in a traditional English cottage style. The other rooms reflect a more contemporary or boho style. All five room makeovers include multiple DIY projects such as building a built-in dresser and shoe storage, installing peel and stick carpet tiles, making and adding faux Delft tiles to an electric fireplace, transforming a 1960’s vanity into a small window seat, installing peel and stick back splash, building a kitchen table, creating wall art and so much more!

You are a renaissance woman. I am impressed at your ability to renno the different spaces.That all of the rennos are budget friendly is a big plus. A lot of punch for not a a lot of money. You have an excellent ability to envision the finished product, a gift that I lack.

Thank you, Sue! My husband has trouble envisioning the outcome. We are currently debating whether I should paint the kitchen cabinets. I know that it will make our kitchen look so much cleaner, brighter, and updated, but he can’t see it. Hopefully, he will trust me on this one!

Your bedroom reminds me of a charming room I stayed in while visiting the Cotswolds. Here in California, Carmel-by-the-Sea, my favorite place, was created in the Cotswold’s style. And you are able to enjoy it every morning and evening! I’m inspired to makeover my bedroom! Thank you, Sherry.

I love your makeovers! All the diy projects are great! Your channel reminds me the old HGTV shows like Design on a Dime where they would do similar projects. That was back when they had good design shows. Not like today where they all seem to be about real estate and house flipping with just staging as “decor”. I have stopped watching HGTV and now just watch KZfaq videos like yours! Great job!

You are one clever and creative woman ! What I like about you and your program is that you use thrifted or homemade stuff and not going out and buying high end stuff . Sorry, not a fan of the artwork in the living room. Also you didn't like the orange look of the dresser in the bedroom but you stained the shelves in the same orange stain.

Sherry you continue to amaze me! I can’t believe that I ever skipped over your videos when I first started viewing you tube videos. I have since gone back and watched everything of yours that I could find! It’s one thing to make crafts & decorate a space but I can’t believe how handy you are. Your vision for these spaces is incredible. I wish I could use color the way that you do. I love color but always use neutrals and 1 color for accessories. That is very limiting when shopping. You just know what looks good together! I’m hooked on these Inexpensive 😊room makeovers

I love your bedroom. I think if you look on the drawer glides there's a little piece that pops out on each side to release drawer. We had a dresser that drawers wouldn't come out but my husband figured out the trick. 🎄🌺🎄

Wow! Every room is gorgeous. But my favorite is your bedroom. It reminds me of the bedrooms in the bed-and-breakfast we used to stay at in Rockport, Mass. I believe the house was originally built in the 1800s, so each room reflected that history, but in different color schemes.

Sherry love all your videos. I have just recently watched off your playlist these makeovers, all your styling and Christmas videos. You are great lady for inspiration and motivation. Although I had great plans watching your videos, everything went to pot, when my mum was rushed into hospital. When I do get a break, have watched your videos, due to your voice and personality you are so calming. Made plans to change pieces around our home, when able to. I would love for you to do another video if you do not mind, on changes to the home, when Christmas decorations come down. Refresh for 2023.
