Yea I agree. Hanako was really shy as a human so Tsukasa must of done something really bad to get his brother to act out of character. But I'm kind of starting to think that Tsukasa enjoyed his death which is why he isn't mad at Hanako for killing him. Since Tsukasa clearly likes messing with people, he wouldn't even care if he was dead. As long as he could see the look on Hanakos face, especially since he's so obsessed with him.

Before I say anything just know that I dont support this behavior in any way shape or form. But I do think this theory could add to the story of Hanako as a whole being why I find it interesting. Seriously I dont support this and find it disturbing, just wanted to be clear before getting hate. Now onto why Tsukasa sexually abusing Hanako may be proven Canon as the series progresses. The first reason hinting towards Tsukasa's abuse towards Hanako would be in the op, if you look closely Tsukasa literally reaches down Hanako's crotch area and proceeds to nibble his ear. In following chapters we can see how this hints towards the kind of abuse he pit Hanako through, thus why Hanako gets so nervous and will start blushing when Tsukasa is near him. Hanako's blushing and immediately becoming defenseless in these scenes could be result of him having memories of the abuse and trying not to fight back in order to prevent the chance of Tsukasa hurting him more. Like when Tsukasa said, "Lets play again like we used to, just think about it." Grabbing Hanako throughout that entire scene with way too much sexual attention. Even in the manga Tsukasa touches Hanakos lips, luckily it wasnt animated but still!Not to mention that Tsukasa touched Hanako's face rubbing his hand near his lips when saying, "You have such a good face" in the scene when we first met him on top of the roof. We could even see Tsukasa's sexually abusive pattern when he forced Mitsouba into eating no.3 heart by forcefully shoving his fingers into his mouth, as if it's normal behavior for him to do. Mitsouba was scared and defenseless when Tsukasa did this before eventually giving in, just like how Hanako is always scared and defenseless whenever he's in Tsukasa's presence. Let's of abusers use fear or the victims emotions to manipulate them into getting their way and that's exactly what we've seen him do. Isn't odd that in character descriptions at the end of chapter 30 when Tsukasa was asked what his favorite snack was, he responded with "Amane." No one should respond to their sibling as their favorite snack, the only time a person is referred to a snack is if they're referring to them sexually. In episode 9, when Yashiro met past Hanako she found him on the floor helpless and crying. If you look closely you'll notice that Hanako's shirt is a mess/slightly unbuttoned at the top and bottom, his scars in this scene are located exactly where the ties in the op are located. Same in the flashback for Tshuchigomori's yourishiro when he's trying to bandage those scars, they're still located on his wrists. This could be a good sign that the op is true with Tsukasa trying Hanko down against his will to take advantage of him with less resistance from being tied up or pinned to the floor. Either way having a tight grasp on his wrists to keep him from fighting back. Hanako probably feels ashamed and worried to admit to his teacher that it's his younger TWIN who is the bully that is sexually assaulting him after school, which is why Hanako never opened up and instead changed the subject. Some victims of sexual assault will try to stay quiet in fear of getting in trouble with their abuser or are manipulated into feeling that they need to protect their abuser from any punishments in hope to not start conflict and not face worse assault. Another moment is in later chapters (No.6 Boundary Arc) when Akane started role playing and pretended he was going to assault Yashiro as a way to bribe Hanako to help them save Aoi, Hanako then rushes in immediately to save Yashiro from what all he knew on the other side of the phone was her being in danger. If you look at Hanako's facial expression in this scene while clinging onto Yashiro tightly in his arm away from Akane, you can see that he's terrified, worried and blushing. This could indicate that he knows what it's like to be sexually assaulted and was trying to prevent the same from happening to Yashiro in that moment. Theres probably even more subtle indications that back up this theory, but sadly I cant think of anymore at the moment. Sadly Tsukasa could have abused Hanako. If this theory still sounds impossible to be canon then idk what to say, but as someone who has been in an abusive relationship all the signs Hanako has expressed could mean that Tsukasa sexually abused him in their lifetime. I wish this could just be a theory but I have a strong feeling that it might be true. But until confirmed no one here is right and I respect everyone's opinion on the subject. This is just my headcanon on their past. Hope this didnt come off as rude or anything. I just pay close attention to details a lot, hope your having a nice day!

I think Tsukasa abuse Amane because he think Amane might leave him(extreme possession and obsession). In the manga he didn't abuse him when they were younger. He started abuse Amane when his love for astronomy gotten a lot stronger or maybe something in the family happen. On the floor of the classroom that Nene walked upon are ripped out books of astronomy as well as rope mark on Amane's wrists (signifying desire to bind the person close to himself). I think the reason why he like Amane despite Amane killed him is because Tsukasa has no notion of death. This can be seen in him willing to kill without thinking, talk freely about his own death as if normal and also despite love Amane so much, he willing to put Mitsuba against Amane to squash him (later on he told Sakura that Mitsuba squashed Amane as if it is a game). Due to this, he think of himself and other dying as normal and nothing to be think of (I don't know if he even know what the exact true consequences and meaning of death). Tsukasa is a character with really blurred sense of moral without knowing what right or wrong and just do however he like (This would explain his child like behaviour because he is really similar to young children in that aspect, the only difference is he is born violence and is given with a lots of power).

ALSOO I have a theory! (It'll ruin your entire career if you haven't read Vol. 16 yet) *Vol. 16 Spoilers!!!* My theory about TBHK and Hanako’s/Amane Yugi’s past. He killed his brother right? It’s because he knew that Tsukasa wasn’t the real Tsukasa. In Vol. 16 of the manga, there’s a flashback of when Tsukasa wished to have Amane get better and to never be sick again, just to pay the price of his own life. But then about a year later he comes back and he looks the same, acts the same but the mother just knows it’s not actually Tsukasa. Because it isn’t. Tsukasa says he’s stuck in the Red House forever because “it” gets mad if he tries to leave or when people try to get him to leave. Yashiro also mentions that he feels warm, like he’s real, not an apparition, not an evil spirit. Which could only mean that the mother wasn’t insane, and Amane didn’t really kill his brother because who he killed wasn’t his brother at all..
