I love mild cheeses, and everyone told me that, as a grown-up, I'd acquire a taste for the stronger stinky cheeses. I kept trying, it hasn't happened yet. I'm just glad that Mike is up there, representing for the rest of us who'd rather eat sweet crumbly stuff than cheese board torture.

Here in the States we have some of the most appalling crap you could imagine for gifting at Christmas. Clearly we are not alone in this. Oh my sweet Lord.....Pigs in Blankets tea and faux dessert cheese? Now I feel better. James’ comment “That is grim.....AF”was just priceless. Sounded like he almost lost the will to go on. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone on the Sorted crew. Thanks so much for the laughs and great content in 2018. Update 12/31/2018: I just learned that someone was marketing rotisserie chicken flavored candy canes here. Hopeless, we are absolutely hopeless. Who green-lights this nonsense?

I'm guessing you're American or from around that neck of the woods so I'd like to clarify that here in the UK, pigs in blankets are sausages wrapped in bacon. American pigs in blankets - the ones that are sausage wrapped in puff pastry - are what we call sausage rolls.

I don't know if we have a name for a bacon wrapped sausage with no addendums in the US, but we DO have a few with addendums! If you deep fry a bacon-wrapped hotdog, it's a 'danger dog', and if you wrap smoked cocktail sausages with bacon (streaky bacon is a must), then sprinkle with brown sugar (and maybe a soda like Dr. Pepper) and bake it for a while, you have meat candy!

I would definitely be interested in trying that cheese board. Although, that mint chocolate chip one does look overwhelmingly sweet (it resembles a slab of ice cream XD). I do personally enjoy having cold dark chocolate and a neutral cheese on top of a warm slice of toast.

James will keep the food as long as it still tastes good. Mike gets so mad at the misleading packaging that he gets rid of it even when the flavor is nice hahaha

I just love watching Mike turn around see the cheese board and be disappointed, then he tastes them and loves them. Everyone else is grossed out. He’s chowing down. I love it
