UPDATE 9/01/2020
We are no longer building these grader boxes, but I've done my best to make a video "blueprint" available to anyone that wishes to build one or have one built for them.

Electric version of our pull type grader box. Linear actuator used instead of hydraulic cylinder allows this unit to be pulled with virtually any type of vehicle that has enough power and traction.

Neil I have recently found your channel and been hooked on everything you do. We have a lot in common with great minds think alike. I actually live in Sarasota, Florida, but grew up very close to wher you live.Which was just north of the reservoir on St Rd 1 north off roth road. I find that outstanding. I love fabrication thinks and enjoy the grader boxs and all that you provide. What mad you not make them anymore? John

Wish you still made them, my dad has wanted a 3 point box blade, u til recently I showed him the unboxing of your new pull type now he wants one!! I would make one myself but I don’t have the metal nor the welding skills!! Have a good day Neil.

The understand making a profit, so go for it! I'm just using a simple lever, using turn buckles to make the height adjustments on my blade and scarifier bar ( has teeth on it to bust thru the hard packed gravel) Once I made the adjustments, I can raise and lower it with the lever and it will go back to the pre-determined depth every time. I'm fortunate to have access to scrap steel from the construction company I work for so price isn't that much of an issue. My blade is a 1 inch thick grader blade so it should last a life time. It's amazing just how well it works and such a simple design.

If you want it three point put one of those bars with all the holes in it across your lower link arms then you will have infinite adjustment. I have both he's correct pull type gives much more precision grade

Hi Rick. Thanks for watching the video and your interest but currently we are no longer building these box scrapers. I'd be glad to answer any questions on details of the scraper that you may have but we don't plan on building any to sell anytime soon. I should update the description on the video. Thanks.

None that lift higher. never tried it on snow really. We don't make them anymore.

@@digdrivediy thank you. I have watched that one. May have missed the electric actuator. Saw the hyd cylinder. Actually have a 318 with hydraulics but may be rebuilding my current 3 pt blade i built to a pull type so i can use it with other machines. Thanks man. Great build.

Very nice box but can you build it to work with cat 0 3 point and if so how much would it be?

Well, actually the whole point of this style grader box is to eliminate the problems associated with a mounted grader box, in that a mounted box will follow the ups and downs of the tractor and make it difficult to get things actually level. The grading action of a pull type box is in my opinion, far superior to what can be achieved with a 3 pt mounted box. Now, the 3pt box certainly has it's place. They are great for moving material and pushing dirt backwards, etc. We have not build one of these as a mounted box yet. I think you would likely find something available at a local farm supply store that would do the trick. Thanks for your comment. We appreciate the feedback and discussion.

Painter D - Yes, the price of materials may be less than the selling price, but also you can't build it for free if you wish to ever make any money. If you use the same cutting edge, actuator and wheels that we use, I assure you that you'll have more than half of what we charge in materials. Has anyone used this scraper to "fix" rutted atv trails? Would be using a deere 318 to pull. Ground is muddy. Thanks

Not sure if it will work so well in the mud. Not entirely sure what really would work too well in the mud for that matter. I'm sure it could fix up the trails when they are dried out. Depends on the consistency of the mud, meaning clay or silt how it tends to flow out from under the bottom of the box. Would be interesting to know how it does.
