If horizon got a larger budget from Microsoft, i recon they could make a large dense city while also making a huge map with lots of variety. If Playground had a larger team and with the next gen series giving us a lot more performance I would hope for the next horizon game to be HUGE especially with a 3/4 year development time

The Forza Horizon copy and paste was in Horizon 1 as well. Don’t forget about the rally dlc. The default in game roads were retextured with dirt.

Hey man. In FH5 the E36 when you turn on visual damage the body of the car gets holes in it where you can see the ground and the player through. It can't be seen in photo mode only in free roam and drone cam.. the body actually gets different holes every time so it's not like the body of the car has some small weak spots in its programming of damage. The sides are the most visible holes (much damage) and the rear of the car is a little more suttle but I was actually pleasantly surprised because I could turn the e36 into a real drift missile that has tons of damage.

If this route for Horizon 1 being in Europe, I would love to see it take place somewhere in the central region which would bring some interesting locations and maybe some characters that will tease you a little bit more that will make the gameplay more interesting and fun. Just like from the older Need for Speed title son the PS2. That will motivate me to go all out just like the hunted races in A9. I am always up for a challenge.

FH1 has a ton of unused lines, showing scrapped ideas, different dialogue for already existing things in the game, and other things.

In the far future they could go back to another area of Australia or London or America, that would be a great idea, however the one thing that will remain would be “We’ve been here before, they’re recycling the game even though it’s completely different”

I never played the first Horizon game, as I had a PS3 at that time instead of an Xbox 360, but FH2 is by far my favorite Horizon game. I've always wanted to visit Germany and Italy, and this game let me do that in part. FH3 is cool as well, just the map is a lot flatter, lol. I've never been to Australia IRL (yet), but I'd imagine it's not that flat lol. The biome diversity is really nice, though.

The first Forza Game is by far the best, there is something about it that makes it unique and special compared to the following games, everything seemed almost perfect about the game, the right balance of everything you wished for, and had the best singleplayer by FAR.

I played the Storm Island expansion when I played Forza Horizon 2, and I thought that was an original map made by the developers.

I also think a partial issue is how Microsoft/Playground Games are still making games for the previous gen as well. I don't hate it, but it definitely holds them back. I mean, even Call of Duty and other games don't support last gen anymore.

Even as I watched this my mind is still on where FH6 will truly be located

I think Microsoft should get a developer to build "Forza Midtown" as a combo of old "Midtown Madness" and Forza to create a city driving experience. It doesn't need to have anything else.. no rally or cross country races at all.. but lots of traffic for street races and mayhem collisions.

I believe Playground Games needs to have the next Forza Horizon game to be next gen only. Because as we can see the older consoles juat can't handle the graphics, performance, and stability to make a great next gen car racing game in my opion.
