Les 5 Gentlemen (IMO the best French 60s band!) perform their hit song 'Dis-nous Dylan' live on youth music program 'Têtes de bois et tendres années', May 5, 1966.
The song satirises the earnestness of the music of pop-folk artists like Bob Dylan and Donovan, and the youth who hang on their every word, looking for answers in songs. It was around this time that Dylan had become popular and influential in France.
There's an odd visual effect here with a diamond shape in the middle mostly showing footage of Dylan, and some close-ups of band member Guy Matteoni, who you otherwise can't see here 🤷♀️
The song was written by the band's singer/bassist Jean Fredenucci.
