I some small tips! if ur hands get shaky I suggest u to drink plenty of water before playing, dehydration causes u to get more anxious and fidgety. If u don't win or u think u didn't do ur best, remind yourself that maybe this was not ur greatest play, and that maybe next time it will be, record ur gameplay and note ur mistakes. See what killed u or keeps killing u, was it because of ur aim, ur lack of cover, position, confusion, reaction time etc? If u notice an ongoing pattern each time u record, work on it and practice to break it.

thanks to AAA games costing hundreds of millions of dollars due to graphics taking roughly 95% of the budget, gameplay, mechanics and level design overall in video games have been stuck in 2005 and many games and new IPs tend to get simpler with time. Devs can no longer experiment with controls and gameplay, because that can cause a game to fail hard and if an AAA game fails nowadays chances are that the studio will go bankrupt or have to reduce the budget of the next game significantly and thus reduce graphical quality and reuse assets and then people will complain about that in the next game, but most studios can't afford to fail a single game at all.

For Keyboard users, my tip is to bind your keys so you don’t need to use the keyboard for combat related functions. I’d, bind melee, nades, switch weapon/nade all to my mouse. I have extra buttons on the side on my mouse. That way my finger never leaves the WASD in any circumstance. Only exception is reload at R. This helps drastically me in CQC combat

One other tip I would put your radial and axial dead zones to around 4-8 this allows more flexibility for aiming in close quarters. I find the default is a bit to tight and not as flexible imo...

Just DLed MCC. With Infinity dropping in the winter I wanted to get back into it. Used to be competitive in local comps back in the Halo CE days, but I haven’t picked this up serious since ‘07. This has been a helpful refresher!

I've found one of the biggest things to nail down with the BR is the timing of each shot. If you pull the trigger too slow you'll get out BRd nearly every time

My sensitivity in halo in general is 1.5 and my acceleration is 6. I can make small adjustments but i can quickly turn.

Hey @KevinKoolx do you think the unlimited frames in halo 3 is a little janky, I had to set it to 60 FPS, until they release the advanced video settings, seems you can’t lock the resolution to your monitors specific hertz I have a 165hz curved MSi monitor 1980x1080 what is your experience with this?

I still think three was the best and had the best multiplayer. Infinite might beat it, but most OG Halo players I know say it doesn’t feel like a Halo game.

With recent updates to halo 3 forge and Reaches forge pallet and new vehicles they added,look for 343 to likely implement map updates soon especially in BTB for these games! I can't wait and MCC is getting better all the time and quite honestly is probably the best value in gaming on the Xbox One! These games have always been great and now they are only getting better and are all in 1 place! ❤👌👌

A crazy tip I have is take a piece a clear tape and draw a small dot in the middle of the tape...and line the dot in the middle of the cross hair. This will act like a dot sight... :)

You use the battle rifle a lot Here’s the thing I exploded my right hand with a large firework so I no longer have a index finger or a thumb that is anywhere near functional So I have to swap my controls so I can shoot with the left bumper I use my middle finger on my right hand to look around just like everyone else(I play on Xbox) but my accuracy is literally so bad so I only use the assault rifle is there a way to continue to improve on skill even if I can only use things like the assault rifle and shot guns because my hand will nog really let me or should I try to practice with the battle rifle a ton

In 4v4 it's the better option in hardcore. In social 4v4 and BTB you'll do fine on MnK

@@KevinKoolx It's cheating. The auto-aim is insane and you can't choose to play against controller or mouse users. It's a PC game, use a Mouse. Otherwise your high score isn't reflective of skill, just that you have an advantage over mouse users. Controllers are skewing the playing field and it's outrageous tbh.

@@dancingvalkyrie well Halo’s a controller game. It was built for console so there might be some balance issues for a little bit, especially with Infinite coming out soon I’d say that’s a higher priority than MCC right now.

The game is designed to play on controller. All aspects of it. It is not much of a reacting shooter game, but mantaining a stream of shots. I can see mouse+keyboard has advatange on SWAT and Team Snipers.

I would actually argue 10 for sensitivity, even if you suck at it at first it is about muscle memory and eventually you will get used to it. Someone used to 10 will always aim and turn faster than someone used to any lower number and all though it is uncommon that it will give an edge it will sometimes still do

Just keep practicing your shots, can do in campaign or with a friend. Ignore toxic players, just try to improve your aiming and jumping skills and youll be good to go.

My settings are... Bumper Jumper Jumper Jumper Vibration and impulse triggers off Horizontal sensitivity: 4.5 Vertical sensitivity: 6.5 Axial deadzone: 13% Radial deadzone: 1% Fov: 86 Centered crosshairs

Put the bloody controller away if you're playing on PC! The auto-aim is really strong and is like cheating because mouse users don't have it and there's no input-based matchmaking. I have a controller, but I will always use M&K because this is a PC game and M&K is the optimal way to play FPS, unless the controller has cheating levels of autoaim.

If you're getting curb stomped in halo 3 by a bunch of sweat lords, try switching to classic halo 2 for a little while. There's far less competitiveness. And while I'm sure not all your skills are gonna transfer to halo 3, I feel like I've been able to improve my game.
