I'm one trophy short of getting the platinum for both DMC1&2 and they're both the ones you mentioned in the video, DMC1 that trophy is just dumb I didn't even bother, DMC2 I have tried to 'beat' bloody palace, but I have the US PS3 version which infinite DT doesn't work, only works on the UK version apparently, DMC3 I actually platinum in 7 days which I'm kinda proud of

DMC4SE is one of the most best DMC games in my opinion

Bro. I lost this trophy when dante had like 2% health left, using the pandora boomerang. Never tried for it again.

You can also use Trish for the trophy. 1. Run away as far as you can. 2. Fire your pistols so Dante will match you. 3. Immediately do Roundtrip with Sparda, then fire your pistols again (Dante will expose himself to try and match your gunfire with his own, resulting in him getting hit). 4. Pandora laser while he's stunned. 5. Repeat steps 2-4.

You were lucky. I tried this exact same strategy and Dante just shot me with Ebony and Ivory during Pandora's transformation sequence. A bit latter he shot me with the shotgun.

Yep, normal or hard were much better for that. I was honestly surprised to see hellish honor there... But that might be because I had dmc3 on ps2 and played the hell out of it, and knew my way around the game...

Spam All different styles for a stylish act. 5. On DMD difficulty,you have to be wary and aggressive at the same time. 6. Done

@@derekmaullo2865 You can't get an S rank while using Super Costume because you take a huge punishment for it. No matter how good you play, using a Super kills any style point gains making S impossible.

Mission 10 and 12 and 18 absolutely broke me that I have turned into a demon myself because I raged so much.. so I won't dare touch Hell and Hell mode.. I don't want to kill myself lmao

Well, guess i finally completed this trophy twice on ps4 and ps5 (and got the platinum on both). Just don't give up and find some good strategies to not get touched once.

I remember gunning for the platinum on dmc4 SE and it's the only game of the series that I managed to get it on. Watching guide after guide really helps, also take note of missions that take the piss early on. I found Lucifer to be my best friend on most missions. It's easy to gain style gauge with that weapon when you're constantly doing pin up to get DT, then going DT and spamming it more. Also, learn royal guard, I know it's a pain but trust me, once you get those just guards down, nothing on earth can stop you

You can do it brother ! It's all about will and dedication trust me. I platted dmc5 yesterday and it's doable ! Many tricks you can use. PSN trophy guide helped me heaps.

Mission 8,10,12 and 18 are probably the missions where the trophy goes from challenging to insta kill cancer

I personally had a tougher time beating DMD.

You guys have any advice on beating DMD on Dmc1? I'm farming normal mode at the moment for devil stars, untouchables, holy waters and yellow orbs to make sure I have enough for each boss. I'm dreading nelo 3 nightmare and mundus

@@Nathan-mt9im Prioritize not getting hit. Use taunts and roll-cancelled grenade launcher shots to quickly build dt and focus on doing damage while in dt. You can tank quite a few hits while in dt, for Nelo Angelo 3, 90% of my damage was Ifrit fireballs while in dt, even though he got some hits on me while I did this, I still S ranked the mission.

Any fight with Urizen (minus prolouge) or V's pets is hell. Specially because they can throw attacks out whenever and since they hardly ever stagger you need to be mobile, or just shoot the luce as an opener then play to try cheesily keeping the style rank up.

Don't forget collecting red orbs that's big easy adventage

Took me ages to do dmc 4 achievements kinda sacked it off until I thought I’m going to holy water the hell and hell mode from about mission 8

The most enjoyment I get out of 2 these days is watching people speed run it. Always cool to see people deconstruct the game mechanically and roll through it all

Reboot doesnt get enuff credit. Its the game that really helped me to understand what the other games were trying to accomplish with their advanced mechanics. Its simplified in the reboot and is perfect for beginners.

@@rattlingmender1648 if you're talking about read you like a book trophy then theres lots of things you need to do lol, i recommend looking up a guide made by Tai Chi, he gives mostly accurate info when it comes down to forcing the AI to do the move you need for your entries. if you're talking about DMD, well, you unlock it by beating the game on hard

DMC4 has the craziest trophy list for sure. Also yes, for the enemy files in 1 you need to die. At least twice to Blades

Nightmare is the hardest part of DMC1 on DMD I've seen speedrunners who know every aspect of the game fall to him so many times, everything else can be cheesed by using accumilated Holy Water,Devil Stars and Untouchables from previous playthroughs on lower difficulties,Mundus is a joke if you have 10 or more Devil Stars or 5 to 10 Untouchables as you can just spam the dragon attack and refill DT with stars and then when you get to phase 2 you can use Untouchables to attack him until it expires and then do it again, the same applies to the last Mundus fight then when Trish appears use a devil star and pop a cap in him (JACKPOT!!!!)

Reboot had more respect for the players time,I got 100% when the game was first released but i've still got 3 achievements remaining on the DE.

Because Vergil is powerful and easy to learn unlike Dante and I can say that to every dmc game.. no offense to the motivated devil

Critical hit? Yeah that one can take a few attempts

Quick tip, easy mode is hell for getting S ranks because everything dies so fast you can't build style off of them.

MGR has a great trophy list, I got half through S Ranking revengeance before I got side tracked and never came back. It was the last trophy I needed for the platinum. If you like Ninja Gaiden I’d recommend checking out The GodFatherDictator’s YT channel, he’s got some cool NG content

Original NG2’s Masted Ninja achievement is harder and I don’t know if Sigma 2 has these but getting all of the “complete the game using only x weapon” achievements is super hard. NG2 also has one of easiest achievements I know of in one of these game, you get an achievement for continuing the game 100 times. The game literally gives you an achievement for dying 100 times (I may or may not have gotten this halfway through my first playthrough).

I tried several times, but those goats were too annoying. And honestly, dmc2 always gave me that "just finish it and get things out the way" feeling.

I rarely comment on youtube but heres a fun fact about Dmc2 trish cheese. You can infact still use unlimited DT trish on the ps4 version(the one im assuming you mean) by simply switching your ps4s internal language/region to i believe chinese or japanese. It changes the games version to the version of the same that allows for the unlimited DT cheat to be imput and used. The trophy will pop up but in the respective language characters and not in english but thats how you do it. I did it and although its a bit of a sore eye to look at english and then random chinese/japanese trophy, its worth it over doing that nonsense legit.

@@rattlingmender1648 there is an attack that lady can do i can’t remember if it’s one you can use straight off the bat or you need to buy it however with that move you can build your devil style to sss so easily and you s rank all difficulties and even get the triple s boss specific trophies as well

Just on one difficulty, on Easy or Normal if you want. I even continued through to S rank on the higher difficulties.

Sorry for the really late reply you probably 100% it by that point or gave up for trish use round trip and collider(r1+ L backwards holding triangle) if their are a lot of enemies on screen or a few, either way it will stun almost all enemies except blitz if they have armor on, speaking of blitz use reverse on them when they spawn in thunder or are standing for a while it'll take their armor out and when that happens use round trip colilider and thunder blow if he still hasn't gone red while transforming quickly use reverse and when he's on red run on the edge and point the camera away from him and keep double jumping so he'll despawn. And for the knight enemies specifically the round trip + collider + thunder blow combo really works, And as for bosses use reverse and round trip on them, and for the credo and dante boss once he finished an attack round trip and use collider and thunder blow if you have time and then reverse it worked a lot for me. Now time for lady, in stage 60 or higher i recommend gaining some time so you could use "grabble spam" which so you grappling them up and then shooting them with level 3 handgun, it works really well with a lot of the enemies except obviously blitz. And use camera manipulation(pointing the camera away) at enemies so they won't attack once their on screen they could and spam level 3 hand gun and grapples, again especially in stage 80 or higher. As for bosses level 3 handgun and the "make it rain" ability once your sure they won't attack, especially in the dante fight use "make it rain" followed by a level 3 hand gun and repeat until he's dead and as for the rest of the bosses i forgot how i defeated, but for the stage 20 boss keep a lot of distance and use level 3 handgun and make it rain once your sure they won't hit, as for credo once you counter him and your far away and he's slowly walking to you use level 2 or 3 rocket launcher. Really hope that helped with you even though you probably finished it, and make sure to check and know the stages before entering so you could know your move. That's how i got done with lady's bloody palace 1st attempt and trish 3rd attempt. Edit: with the grapple spam routine you can just spam all the way until the level 3 handgun reload, then fire it and repeat the routine, and again it doesn't work on blitz and with blitz against lady spam level 2 to 3 handguns until their shield is down, then spam trigger happy(r1 forward + O) and while doing that charge the handguns to level 2 or three and hit them with it and repeat the process, and same with trish once their red run in the edge double jumping and camera manipulation until they despawned.

Fighting Griffon and Shadow and Nightmare equals killing yourself literally lmao

@@xDevilNeverCry I think I do, if I just work on one at a time. I did love 4, just I was younger when it launched and now SE feels like overkill content wise. Or at least daunting, always found the switch from Nero to Dante more of a disconnect being so far into a run to suddenly remember all of Dante's stuff 😆

oh yeah, I played through the whole game with broken controllers too. My thumbsticks dont work, so I cant even move, or do some attacks, and my other buttons press themselves sometimes, this makes me die, but. I still S ranked everything, so its not that difficult if u have a working controller, and u still cant s rank, you just suck, and thats the first step in getting better, realizing you are not doing things properly.

The "Worthy of Legend" trophy from 'DMC 5' which requires you to win all the missions on all difficulties with 'S' rank, including "Hell and Hell" where you die on one hit, definitely makes 'DMC 5' the hardest one to get a platinum trophy.

No it's not lol. It's at the very least 2nd hardest to plat

Ive definitely failed s ranking V missions and missions 10, 12, and 18 because they require certain style points, and on mission 10 of dante, I just no damaged it lol, probably not ideal lmao, and mission 18 I cheesed with faust hat and trickstering away, V missions I cant remember what i did lol

@@furious_malic7808 Idk if I would say DMC5's trophy is the hardest either, but it's definitely not the easiest. DMC1-3 are pretty simple if you're just going for plats. The hardest challenge in those is just "beat the games on DMD" which isn't bad since you can use items and play on gold orb mode for DMC3. The one for getting all S ranks in DMC3 is also simple if you play on easy as Vergil. DMC2 Bloody Palace is mind numbing, but not hard. DMC4 has all the hardest ones for me. Now, *beyond* the achievements? Getting SS rank in every difficulty on every mission in DMC3 is the toughest to me (SSing mission 19 on DMD is cancer).
