When I was around 9 or 10, my sister, my mother and I were in my house watching TV late one night, my father was gone at the time at work. As we watched TV, we suddenly heard a high pitched womans scream. It was so loud that it blocked out the sound from the TV. My sister and I were terrified. My mother claimed it came from the TV but we all knew better. A couple of years later, my father died of cancer.

Regarding the last story, my heart goes out to the two children that the woman has with the man who put a spell on her as at the end of the day it wasn't their fault that their dad was a nasty piece of work. One thing about magic is what ever you do remember it always comes back two fold so be careful what or who you curse

A Banshee's scream is ear bleeding loud and high pitched. Only ever heard one once, never again. Fingers crossed

Yeah they're not to be feared though. The loud scream is something you can get a hang on and you can be very certain that someone is going to die. Interesting how you had one encounter and the Banshee left. Ours is gonna sick around forever.

It wasn't my family's. It was a friend's house. I have my own personal ability that allows me to know when a family member or someone I'm close to is going to pass. Been able to since I was a little girl. I think I can live with this ability better than a banshee. Lol
