It's quite unfortunate the way United disrespect their legends. Even as a Messi fan,I must say that Cristiano was basically Man United's back bone. Had Cristiano gone to city in 2021,he would have won the league at least 2-3 times,but united fans would have called a Judas and a betrayer. As for the De Gea case,it just showed how badly and stupidly run United is. Fans kept on claiming that De Gea was a problem and they needed a modern goalkeeper who was good with his feet , while forgetting that De Gea in his prime could basically save the titanic and had saved the club millions and millions of times. Now that they have Onana, A modern goalkeeper who is good with his feet and terrible in his reflexes and saving ability. He also has more memes created about him than the amount of clean sheets he has for Man United😂.

I felt the worst for De Gea. he sacrificed his best prime years for United. In his prime days he was the top 3 keeper in the planet. When Real Madrid was trying to get him, he stood by us and saved us many times. he could have won CL and many league titles with Madrid but he still stay and contribute the best he can. He was always polite in interviews, never cause drama, and well discipline, he was someone that the youngsters can look up to. Yet United dished him out just like that. while it is true that he made a few mistakes in his career, but what he has contributed to us out weight those mistakes by miles.
