Here's a Classic video game tune from one of the most iconic villains of all time: Ganondorf. This one emulates the strain of climbing his tower in Ocarina of Time, getting progressively more and more passionate/difficult as the track unfolds.
This is a VERSUS round against my colleague Ryan Z 'Piano Guy'. Check out his version of the theme here and VOTE in the comments who you think 'won' this round/arranged the theme the best:

=====(The Details/Performer's Notes)=====
This is a revived old round of VERSUS from many years ago. I kinda forgot how tricky this arrangement gets towards the end. This took a lot of drilling and running the arrangement to get this recording (attentive listeners may still hear the mistakes dotted about). This would be a great warm-up or etude for anyone thinking about going to college for piano.
I also slightly altered the ending to finish on a major triumphant harmony as opposed to the darker minor chord in the original. The entire arrangement is structure around the idea of climbing his tower at the end of Ocarina of Time. The music gets progressively more and more intense until you reach the top/final showdown accented by the arrival of the Major tonic chord at the end.

I've learned the whole thing already. I learned from the original video by pausing the vid over and over and decreaseing the vid speed. It was excruciating but worth it. I can play the whole thing perfectly and have tbh

Well that's tough because Ryan Z pulls his arrangement more from wind waker and you pull yours from ocarina of time and those two games just happen to be my absolute favorites in the Zelda series. Tbh I enjoyed playing Erik's more than I enjoyed playing Ryan's but that's also a matter of opinion. Personally I believe Erik C wins the vs round

This entire sequence in LoZ: OoT is just chilling. I still have vivid memories of first getting here during my childhood. All you can hear is the organ getting louder and more intense as you climb higher and higher into the tower. And the music never shifts until you finally reach Ganondorf himself at the top. So friggin' good.

I’m have a déjà vu ! It’s like you already play this a long time ago on your channel and decide to redo again cause the vibes your version do too me are the same. I’m remember that one of my reasons to discover your Chanel is that I was looking for a magnificent ans demoniac version on the ganon Tower. Yo that was awesome. Really good job. I've been waiting for you to make a synthesia video for this arrangement for sooo long. It's about time. But to be honest it was a tad bit sloppy. I myself have had made piano videos for my friends and I too get nervous and play nervously and often have to restart recording. I would've done just a few more runs and kept the best but you still pulled it off. There are also a few things you did in the original video that for some reason you changed. For example: the original ending of this arrangement was awesome and had a lot of flare. There are also some certain cords you changed (this is just something I noticed). I'm not trying to discriminate you as I am a HUGE FAN of you and you're channel and I am inspired by you and have become almost ling ling level in just a few years (no joke my piano teacher says I've bested all her students and herself technique-wise

Fair criticism. I decided to get ride if the original ending because I thought it just didn't fit/was flashy for the sake of flashy. If I ever get around to writing sheets I'll include that as the Ossia.

ok idea you should take all your Zelda music and put it in a book!!! personally it’s not logical to spent 15 bucks on every song especially when good chance is i won’t finish it, but if you were to put them all in a book and sell it for like 75 i would buy it SO FAST!!!

Yeah bro. I can see why you would think that but there are millions of songs and pieces with chromatic scales in whichever form. Chopin's etudes are supposed to improve certain techniques and his op 10 no 2 is for chromatic scales but isn't the origin of this technique. I LOVE Chopin btw 😁

Erik C 'Piano Man' is the technique at 3:02 from Chopin's Scherzo Op. 20 No. 1 in B Minor? It makes sense except that the technique in Chopin's Scherzo is going up and you went down. But I'm right, aren't I?

Thanks for the request. Getting all my music on Spotify is long overdue tbh. There's been some weird licensing issues with anything that has multiple tracks in it (medley's and mashups). Otherwise you'll just have to enjoy it on YT for now.
