Once in a while in real time I would pick up issues of LA , not until of late I have appreciated their uniqueness to actual continuity ; they are an alternate Riverdale reality wherein Veronica and Sabrina grew up in Riverdale instead of both arriving in their high school ages. In these stories Archie is akin to Jonny Quest instead of a bumbling individual. There are moments where the Jughead - Betty association that was a consideration in the 1950s is evident in LA. In the teenage continuity covers of the 1950s one often sees Jughead and Betty comfortable with each other ; a possible attempt to emulate an approach a few 1950s episodes of the Archie radio show presented. Alas the Betty-Veronica- Archie triangle was a necessary element thus eliminating any other consideration. If more LA comics are acquired I cast my vote in favor of seeing them.
