I love how on Bedrock sometimes the animals actually time out their pathfinding if they are pushed back enough by a player. On Java it feels like they never give up and you're just stuck in a lengthy push of war. Maybe this is why there's more lag on Java.

As far as live stream goes I'm unsure but he did do a video finishing old projects that was enjoyable. However what I want is slightly different than that bc he did work on a few things he easily remembered. I'd love to hear the confusion in his tone of voice asking himself why the heck he started something long ago and since forgotten about.

Great videos Also for the sheep sheering farm, If you put a hopper minecart under the grass block right under the sheep, (by placing in it on a temporary block and then breaking it so it falls on a chest that then can connect to whatever storage or travel system you want for the wool) But the hopper minecart will let you get 100% of all wool that drops

My absolute favorite thing to do in Minecraft is to farm, I have probably made every kind of farm, from sugar cane to glitched wither skeleton farms. Sometimes I will just spend hours upon hours doing manual farming. And for the most part I don’t use the stuff I farm, I just enjoy doing all of the farming.
@HungryWarden
@HungryWarden 9 ай бұрын
Personally, I think it’s only good to create a farm if it’s really necessary. If you’re creating farms to automate everything, even things that barely need to be obtained like rotten flesh or spider eyes or things that you just don’t need very often, you’ve basically eliminated the fun in gameplay. I see a lot of people who build monstrously large farms for things they barely ever end up needing, and that’s how you know you’re going to far. These are probably the some of the same people that complain Minecraft is too easy

I'm finding that mobs on Bedrock are noticeably dumber than on Java, especially the villagers. Good lord, Bedrock villagers can barely manage the pathfind up stairs. And I've seen more than one just walk off my floating island into the sea below. They seldom survive the rampant drown long enough for me to even attempt a rescue.
@chriswillis2181
@chriswillis2181 8 ай бұрын
I had a village I built up over a long time. Built a nether area nearby with magma blocks lining a lava river. Lost way too many max level villagers to the magma blocks, even though it was on the very outskirts of the village. I would be busy building nearby and hear villagers getting hurt. I would run over only to find my max level villagers walking back and forth on the 3 block wide magma blocks until they died. WTF? There was no reason for them to do so, even by accident. Villager AI is disappointingly suicidal. I would rather have their AI fixed than more block or biome updates.

This video reminded me I really should make a lava farm for fuel, so thank you, Toycat! ☺️ Also, how many cuss words did Harrison have to edit out while you were wrangling the sheep and pigs? 🤣

Using Elytra while on fire should cause you to burn faster. I find it is easier to drop villagers or animals into a cell with a trapdoor than to try to lead them. I like the idea of building a combination wither skeleton farm and gold farm. The coal from the Wither skeleton farm could fuel furnaces to smelt the gold swords that zombified piglins drop. I think it would be easier to pull off on Java with the Nether roof, but theoretically possible on Bedrock.

I don't know if it works the same way on Bedrock as I have experienced on Java, pretty sure it does, but you can hold carrots/wheat/seeds in your off-hand while luring animals, and then your main hand is free to be used for blocks and tools for building a pen without the animals wandering off. I learned this on my first world as I was out looking for cows (I lived in a snow country and cows lived kinda far from my village) and I maybe accidentally switched to off-hand while holding wheat and they kept following me, so I've been doing that since so kiting animals is a bit easier. Maybe you already knew, I just wanted to point it out since I haven't seen anyone else do this. ;)

Me: looks at my manual kelp farm that produces 10 stacks of kelp per harvest. Micro farmers: this will run continuously and produce a small amount of product over time. Side note. I think I might post a video of a scaled down version of my kelp farm, however it is so rudimentary and simple that I am sure that most people already know how to build it using just simple water physics and trapdoors.

the farms themselves, nice and compact and easy. good job on them. As for the video, you're not really needing to make a 40 minute video to talk about each farm for ten minutes. KZfaq pays you more for more time watched by viewers, so you are pretty obviously just milking it by waffling. Each of these farms take a maximum of 3 minutes to explain thoroughly. I personally detest your types of content creators, because most of the content of your videos is just white noise surrounding the few bits of important information. Waffling, waffling, waffling. Stop. Be better.
