I think having them on guard mode was a mistake. They aren’t smart about it. They drowned themselves and thin out their numbers. I think keeping them all from moving would have worked much better. Maybe I’m wrong, but them running ahead in small groups caused more issues than it helped.

The greatest threat is from body bridges formed by zombies. What is needed is some long distance fire power like tanks and catapults to kill zombies not just in the front, but in the middle.

Good concept, but I wish you wouldn’t skip right at the end. Didn’t get to see the most interesting bit of the battle. Also, run to the end please. 30k zombies is still quite a bit.

I've watched quite of few of these at this point and I'm not gonna lie, it makes me a bit mad that the only reason the zombies seem to keep winning is because they create a literal mound of their dead to block shots, create new openings, etc. It just don't seem right lol.

meh, that keeps things interesting. Daley should've made the guard mode soldiers stand still whenever they reached a chokepoint. That way victory would've been more plausible the first battle.

The troops you moved are huddled around the way point in movement. You need tospread them into fire and move modes.

really i think guard mode is really only good for melee units so that they'll engage ranged units instead of standing there and just dying. guard mode on ranged units just disperses their fire spreads them out where they can't support each other as well so they get killed much faster. also in this map not only all that but they lose an obscene number from flooding deaths because of running out of position. i really don't think you should use guard mode for ranged units.

Can you put the camera higher up for timelapses, when there's a break through at the timelapse spot a lot of the time we can't see the continuity of the battle and we are left there guessing wondering what's happening like at 25:45. If it were higher up and positionned so we could see more of the entirety of the battle these moments might not happen as often. Thanks

Additional comment; Can you increase the range of their weapons? If you can it would make the bodies pile up further back. I know that when I'm target plinking with my A*-*5 at the range, I can easily hit targets at 200 yards with a red dot and tack plates at 6-700 with my 1x8 scope. So modern soldiers should be able to hit them further out with 4x ACOG scopes. closer to 5-600 yards or 450-550 meters. Its possible my eyes are not seeing that they are shooting a distance in the game. So I could be wrong.

You can increase the range, but, I think the logic of the AI in the game would make it fire at the closest enemy, so it wouldn't help as much as it should

I think it was the flanking group that won it. They pushed the zombies back to that gate and clogged it with bodies, so all the ones up top couldn't get down quickly.

Need about 10000 more modern Soldiers so few men to cover such large areas, once the zombie bridge is made, its game over due to the overwhelming numbers, the positioning is the killer for every unit, So pact in and not enough crossing or cover fire.

I think the difference was the zombies were distracted by the guys on the rooftops so they were not at full force towards the compound that's why the zombies lost

i think the flank defense group won them they day in the second battle, they literally plugged the main gate with bodies so the zombie reserves couldn't swarm in

I depth defense from high vantage points above sheer walls seems to be the key. Put "Stand your ground" soldiers on top of all the walls with sniper class accuracy, then smaller groups of skirmishers in front. put lumps of guradians behind ditches and at the base of slopes backed by more sniper overwatch. The guardians would slowly fill ditches and have to retreat, but the snipers firing overwatch would continue killing zombies at the top of the cliffs or walls. Zombies win by burying obstacles, plan for them getting buried.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Soldiers will stop firing after a short burst and then start again. But Idk if that's technically reloading or just them burst firing. Either way they woulda ran out of ammo before the end of the first million would be my guess.

That was epic til the end. I thought they were done for ... then the sun broke through the clouds to reveal fewer zomboes and the victory was theirs. To protect that flank you could have had a few hundred on hold at the bridge to stop them getting all excited and chasing z through the gateway.
