5 Millionaire Habits That Changed My Life

In this video, I will share five millionaire habits that changed my life. According to studies conducted by Fidelity, only roughly 12% of today's millionaires in America inherited a significant portion of their wealth.
One of the most effective ways to build wealth is to study those who have done so before us. Some of the habits that I will mention in this video have a direct correlation with a significant increase in income that I have experienced in the past few years.

I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made.

I understand that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but investing today is hard for me now because I have no idea of how and where to invest in. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.

I invest across the top markets but not by myself though. I follow the guidelines of *Nolan Velden Brent.* you might have heard of him. I can correctly say he's worth he salt as an investment advisor as he diversification skills is top-notch, I say this because I see that in his results as my portfolio grows by averages of 20 to 3O% every month, unlike I can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what he places and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. he gave me that financial freedom I needed.

Impressive i like that, fortunately, I had a college economics teacher that taught me a lesson at 18. That lesson was: for every purchase you make, you can't buy something else. Varied sources of income is wise and especially living within your means. Think about taxes and how you get your income. I made $72k combined net last year and paid no Federal taxes.

1. Journal. Can be therapeutic. You can look back on what you have written on your goals. 2. Spend your free time to build skills. 3. Have a "Think Week" like Bill Gates. Take a break from doing things, meditate to allow you to take a step back to review your direction. 4. Have a schedule to keep yourself organsied. Put down all the things you need to do and have a routine for different areas for your life. 5. Network with people. Associate with people who are driven. Find a mentor.

Finally a habits video that doesn't involve wake up at 5 and mediate. I totally agree that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Friends are people that you can actually choose to hangout with so it's important to pick people that have similar values and goals and also respect your time as much as you respect theirs.

But isn't waking up at 5 am and meditating a good habit? It is hard meditating everyday, its like those basketball drills that are boring and mundane but you don't become an NBA player just playing basketball, you need to practice same drills for hours everyday for years.
@maketheworldwonder
@maketheworldwonder 3 жыл бұрын
@@sportsaddict9104 no i think they are great habits but I don't think everyone needs to incorporate those habits to change their life. Actually mediating doesn't even have to be you sitting there emptying your mind. Like I find watering my plants meditative and some people might find cooking mediative for them.

The deprivation from being poor, made me into a materialistic person once I started making money. It took years before I woke up from that mind set. Thank goodness, I saved and invested at the same time I was buying clothes and other stuff I don't need, but only wanted. - I made a wish list - Kept a financial calendar for all bills and I consider paying into my saving account a bill. - autosave a mutual fund account, started with $50 per month. - auto transfer from checking to savings.

Tip for anyone who doesn’t have time to read (or just doesn’t like reading lol), LISTEN TO AUDIOBOOKS ON YOUR COMMUTE! Increase your human capital just while you’re driving. As a student, I don’t have a lot of time to read books other than my textbooks, but by listening to audiobooks most days of the week on my drives, I am able to consistently learn new skills and grow. I would love to learn how to play piano or some type of instrument for example. It might have nothing to do with the career I am pursuing but I feel like it will definitely make me more valuable as a person like you said.

I’ve been using a personal size ring planner for a few years now and it changed my life. Not only do I use the monthly and daily schedule, but I have sections like meal planning, finance/budget tracker, cleaning schedule and most important a personal section that includes affirmation/gratitude journaling, habit and mood tracker, and my goals. I highly recommend! There’s just something about using a paper planner that’s calming. I love starting my day with a cup of coffee and writing my daily gratitude and journaling.

I do bullet journaling -- but not the complicated, fancy method. I literally just bullet tasks, goals, and check of items in a very basic, boring way. However, this has been a daily activity for the past three years for me and has helped me way more than expected. I even attribute it to helping me in so much of my financial success. I think it has helped me in meeting a goal of mine which was to make an additional $2K a month through mostly passive activity. Next goal is to double it.

You don't find time you make it! I've been able to make a habit out of both of those by making it part of a morning routine. When you plan the most important things the first thing in the day, they get done...because when you put off certain things for the later parts of the day there's alot more likelihood things get in the way. Try to make it a morning discipline, I struggled with both of those habits Until I made it part ofmy morning

The millionaires I personally know share the following things in common: 1. They are highly organized in all areas of their lives - they have beautiful hand writings, their home are so tidy such that you can walk-in at any time and still be amazed. 2. They don’t wait for opportunities to come and they don’t procrastinate until all tasks at hands are dealt with. For example they are always the first ones who’d make a restaurant booking , pay their bills and complete tax filings etc. 3. They know where to spend their money. I don’t often see them spending money on luxury items, rather they save it for buying houses that guarantee passive income and tend to use part of those passive income net of loan for gambling in the stock market and the remaining are saved for buying more houses/businesses.

It’s good to have someone who can teach you a good relation with money, I remember my mom years ago when we just didn’t have enough money and she told me ‚money isn’t everything, you can enjoy life without them too’ and being raised by this woman made me a responsible adult woman, I know what money means, I don’t need to spend them to make me happy, of course I do it sometimes but totally aware that I can do it and if money’s tight I just say no and I can live with it. Once you have a good relation with money you can change the way you live. Sounds confusing but it is helpful.
