I love this style!! Do you think it would work if I just tied the first bit (the anchor) with an elastic and used pins on the rest? I just don't like using a lot of elastics because taking them out will fray the ends if the client isn't careful - also just takes more time than removing pins. I'm definitely gonna try it and see if I can find a solution there but I'd love to know what you think!

I prefer quick styles that I can do myself. I’ve spent too much money paying stylists for updos that look nothing like the photo I bring. I never ask for difficult updos, for example, a chignon with straight wisps around my face. What do I get? Ringlets that are meant for younger girls. I’m 60 years old and look ridiculous with ringlets around my face.

I love watching these but I feel like these quick styles should mention the prep that's gone into them, because you are the crimping effect going on in the hair which is unnatural and therefore makes a five minute style a slight misnomer x
