5 Minute Cards - Beach Valentine

Today's 5 Minute Card video is a couple minutes longer but it's truly worth the watch! I had so much fun making this card using the Ocean Minded stamp set and some ink blending. I used several ink colors but you can use less and just use a lighter or heavier hand where you want the color lighter or darker. I also show you a trick to accent the water line to make it look more three dimensional!

Really LOVE that stamp set, & love your card! Gonna have to add the stamps set to my wish list! The addition of the copex for shadowing really make it stand out.

I live very close to the beach. This is one card I know I'm going to enjoy making and sending to my Friends. I sometimes add a add a small vial of Beach sand and label it to add to the cards

I wouldn't dismiss the ocean wave stamp being turned the other way round. You have to envision one of those giant Hawi'ian waves that is just breaking along the top edge and white foam riding up the face of the wave. All you need is a little surfer out there paddling like crazy!

That is super cute. The greeting does look like it is drawn in the sand and adding just that touch of shading to the waterline makes all the difference in how it looks. What a fun card.
