7:32 When you use a card for it's special ability the card doesn't go into the discard pile, it gets removed from the game.
This goof will be repeated, no more notes about it will be done

I saw this in the store and didn't pick it up. Thought I'd watch some KZfaq videos of it first. The simple game play mechanics will make it easy for everyone to pick up quickly, but wow is this intense! The time restriction is genius and really ramps up gameplay! After watching you guys play I'm heading back to the store to pick this up. Thanks for the video!

Looks like good light fun, great for a start of the night filler in the pub. I was expecting the timer app to throw in some challenges though - traps (discard a card, drop hand limit for 20s, etc), random encounters (monsters that have to be dealt with).

12:30 The magic bomb is "one of everything", she said. Wouldn't that mean it would be one shield, not all three?

yup, jen actually played 2 magic bombs and a wild card at that moment, but she played them off camera :)

I have found that the wizard and thief work together supper well. You can draw 4 while time is paused to beat the monster if possible.

Divine shield + Beast Hunter is another good strategy in the same vein.

Saw this game on ks but decided not to pledge ...now after seeing the run through i actually feel sorry for not doing it, game looks short , fun and addictive . maybe not the best artist graphic or dippiest mechanic but it looks fun and fells enjoyble. thank and here is a like :)

You played the divine shield and put it on your discard. Technically this should be put into the "played" pile because it was played, not discarded. I don't think it affected your game, but could give an incorrect advantage if someone plays the card that lets you draw from your discard.

My wife and I beat the whole game in one sitting on our first try, no redos. No fights, no stress - just rapid thought and communication.

We haven't even beat the first boss yet actually never even got to him but in fareness we did not use 2 decks for 2 player game and only played a couple times

Which take effect first? The door effect? At 8mins yish, The door said discard all cards on hand Then she use her card to bomb the door. Shouldn't the door take effect first, therefore unable to use the card she has on hand?

Seb Patry they didn't win. Actually she can't play Magic Bomb since it counts one of each resources. They cannot play resources that's not covered at the Boss.

Does the game come with a sand clock or something, so you dont need an app for it? Or only playable with a smartphone?

i don't believe so, so if you don't own a laptop or mobile phone, you'll have to use the timer on your kitchen stove (or put a glass of water in the microwave and use that timer) :)

Thanks for the reply..Well i got a phone and smartwatch..plus a 5min sandclock in another boardgame. its a pity that it doesnt come with a clock by itself. Im all for manual games..so it should come with a timer, if time is essential.

I just bought a 5 minute hourglass at ebay ($5) to use with the game, to pause it, just lay it down 90º :)

Yes..i got a 5min sandclock in Spaceteam the card game..used it several times now when the phone batt died

JDawg yeah, all of us on bgg FB group got confused because KS was converting the total price back to CAD after pledging. So we all thought it was over $38 U. S DOLLARS for the early bird, but we figured it out.

JDawg I've backed other KS from Europe and the likes and I swear it showed my total in U. S. Dollars before. I think this is the first one that converted the total back to the foreign currency. It was so confusing.

so jen could pass her whole hand then you can discard 9 cards so she can draw 12 and you start with 17.

Just saying, Jen had wayyyy to many cards. Then rules clearly say that you are supposed to not draw a new card until you reach the card max. She continues to draw.

The rule is that you can always redraw to your starting hand size if you have fewer. There is no maximum hand limit.

I dislike these speed games. Instead of being cooperative, there is the risk of the payers fighting by the time the time runs out if one player is too slow and the other loses his patience. There are much better coop games and I also find these games too stressful. If I am going to end up sweaty from the stress and the frantic movements, I can think of several better ways to do that. Cool review as always.

I disagree, the reason I love speed games is because they are frantic. And about fighting, I can’t think of any game where there is no risk in fighting, I mean you can get mad at people I’m freaking candy land

"5 minute dungeon" ... spends 10 minutes talking before game even starts
