I'm looking forward to seeing more of Muriel and Crowley. You know they'll have to rely heavily on each other next season now that Azi 'moved up.' It'll be like the comic strip of the war-beaten German Shepherd and kitten comic, Brutus and Pixie. I honestly don't think Muriel has gotten enough praise in this role, she's just as emotive and lively as these two. I am really, really looking forward to it!

As a result, angels and demons are typically referred to with they/them pronouns. (Some exceptions for "man-shaped beings" who've spent more time on Earth, like Aziraphale, Crowley, and Gabriel.) 2) Canonically, Crowley has presented "female" at multiple points in the show (such as at Golgotha and as Nanny Ashtoreth). Though it's not shown on screen (due to time), we can logically assume that the people around Crowley at those times would have used she/her pronouns (because they were being presented with a "woman-shaped" being). 3) Canonically, Crowley has actively corrected people when they call him male (such as when Mrs Sandwich called him "a good lad"). Gender is a human construct - Crowley is not human. 4) With this in mind, fanon (fan canon) is that Crowley uses human gender in the same way he uses human clothes, changing pronouns like he changes outfits (aka whatever he feels like "wearing"). Different Crowley looks (presentations) have been assigned various pronouns by fandom (though some fans use any/all pronouns for Crowley regardless of how he's presenting). Pre-fall Crowley is often referred to by fans with she/her pronouns, as is Nanny Ashtoreth; other Crowley looks are given different pronouns (for example: Edinburgh Crowley often gets they/them or she/her; Bildad the Shuite tends to get a fairly even split between he/him and she/her; Leather Vest Crowley gets a fairly even split of they/them and he/him.) Many fans think of Crowley's pronouns as "flexible", because he's not human so why should he care? (Some fans also believe he does it deliberately, because he enjoys the confusion and chaos involved with disrupting social norms.) Hope that helps! :D
