Toner balances the pH is correct but this was beneficial in earlier times when cleansers used to affect the pH of your skin. You don't need toners as such.

Its simple 1. maintain gut health 2. Apply Cleanser 3. Moisturizer 4. Sunscreen If you don't want to use two things than just go for moisturizer with spf protection. That's it
