Best tips for audiophiles: enjoy your existing collection, avoid buying hyped up products on youtube until after the hype dies down. BC creators always push more consumption.

True, with a new IEM coming out every other month (and being hyped by the entire community), it just feeds into the urge.

In my case, whenever I want something that isn’t essential, I usually wait a month or two to see whether I feel the same way about it; if I do, I order. The only time I haven’t done that is with the Dioko, and only because I wanted a cheaper IEM to take into the office.

I bought 7 Hertz Timeless because of your recommendation and its my first ever IEM at 200$ mark. My first Iems are TRN v20 and v30 and at first they sound really good compared to generic earphones and now I upgraded to timeless, bro, its a whole new world for me. I hope you made a series about external DAC too for pc and laptops. I definitely watch it. Love your way of making vids

Tip #7, investing in a blutooth adapter can give you the best of both worlds. TWS don't usually have the same audio quality as wired iems, being able to switch out the cable for a blutooth adapter allows you to switch over to wireless when it is most convenient without sacrificing audio quality. Also, I advocate for Tip #1, you never know when you will need a wired iem so I have my Quarks (with mic). They're cheap, so I'm not concerned over breaking them (I'm still careful though), and they also sound good (good value).

Good tips! I especially endorse the cost does not equal value tip. I’ve got the money, but I also worked too hard just to piss it away. However, I Am an album guy, so if I decide to own something, I’ll take the whole thing. I can always skip over anything that bores me.

#4 very true. An IEM with a higher price tag doesn't necessarily mean it's better. I'd also go so far as to say that higher technical performance doesn't always translate to more musical enjoyment.

I use a Nintendo Switch case that I put Velcro dividers in to hold my portable amp, 3 IEM’s, and the cables/adapters. I can throw it it in my backpack to take them all with me. My P1’s, Timeless, and Monarch mkii’s. I have other headphones I can take instead if I don’t want to carry all that $ with me.

Hey Timmy, how are you doing? If it’s not too much of a bother, I’d just like to know your opinions on the technicality differences between the Moondrop Kato and the Seeaudio Yume:Midnight. Which one has the best soundstage, imaging, detail, timbre, speed and treble extension?
@Gizaudio
@Gizaudio 2 жыл бұрын
I would say the Kato is better in imaging, details. Timbre is about equal, Kato might be slightly better. Treble Extrension, the Yume Midnight is better. Overall tuning, the Yume Midnight is better as well.
@luis.aacjara

@PastorwithoutaPulpit
@PastorwithoutaPulpit 2 жыл бұрын
@@luis.aacjara Any chance you own the Starfield or Aria because if you do just imagine the Kato as being just 10% better than either of those at most. I went with the Midnight when I made the choice you're facing and I couldn't be happier. They are one of my favorites in what is becoming a rather large collection. For just sheer listening pleasure I put the Midnight up there with my Timeless and Audio Lokahi. Hope my comment wasn't made to long after your post and it helps.

This Lunar New Year, I watched a few KZ and Tinhifi products. Guess what, the prices increased vs December with the lowest price being on 11.11 . Disappointed of the "sale" tbh.
@wengezhu1
@wengezhu1 2 жыл бұрын
It is simply supply vs demand: During Chinese new years, most people are having long vacations and manufacturers will have very low inventory while in the meantime the demand will be higher, at least within China. Therefore the "sales" during the Chinese new year is only about availability, not good deals.

I cannot agree much more than to keep old cheap IEM. People in the comment section always encourage people who are new to "buy this and you're set for life". I regretted selling my old SSP, since then I kept my cheap IEM and take turns listen to them between days. The magic is ceratinly there

The only problem with Tidal for me is the poor selection when it comes to foreign music, and when I was using Tidal, not every track has that "Master" quality. Only a select few.

I always keep my IEMs except the 1more Triple Drivers I gave to my next door neighbor was going to blow 20 bucks on some generic junk. Crinacle himself said you don't have to pay a premium for great tuning which I wholeheartedly agree. More money usually gets you better accessories and technical performance but doesn't guarantee stellar tonality. A set like the Yume easily beats most IEMs when it comes to tonality.

1more triple drivers are sometimes $29 brand new these days. Its nice because the accessories in the box are arguably worth $30 alone.

I've still got the 1more quad drivers they were very heavily discounter and I use them a lot to plug into my laptop for meetings as well as with my phone from time to time because of its mic. Its very well built. And they don't need charging like wireless ear buds- just a 3.5mm socket!

7: Get good sealing and comfortable tips ( I now use CP100’s ) 8: CLEAN YOUR DAMN EARS…humans are nasty 😷 9: Ask yourself do you listen to music ..or is it more for a background soundtrack to your day. And finally 10: Most people have never even heard of IEM’s and when you introduce them the first thing that most people say is that it feels weird and why so bassy .😳 It’s always fun to bring new people into the hobby ..so don’t start them at the top of your collection..go to the watch case ( a great idea!) and start out with the Blon 3…and work up ..you’d be surprised at their reactions 😊
