For that last one, back in the day he did a shoot interview about doing 1k squats alongside Benoit. He said that after the fact his urine changed color. After talking to a doctor he found out that the muscle tissue in his legs was broken down and passing out via his urine. So yeah, that had to be unpleasant.

I remember hearing about the Daivari squat thing. Apparently Benoit was the one to order him to do it, and this could be wrong, but I think the story went that Benoit actually did the squats with Daivari. I also heard that he ended up pissing red, which wasn't blood, but broken down muscle fibre.

Wrestling is based in respect (depending on what you call "respect"), and wrestlers do respect their elders (even if they're just jobbers. That's why no one ever speaks ill of Goldust). And finally, some fights backstage haven't exactly ended in friendships (Sid and Arn Anderson stabbed each other with scissors, and Invader #1 stabbed Bruiser Brody to death). I think they are unreasonably hard with wrestlers to avoid them to actually hurt each other or worse.

Jonny wasn't the only one who was unhappy with how he was used in the company, a veteran I think it was foley said jonny was very gifted and one of the best wrestlers at the time and if he was given half an opportunity on his own he would've went far but vince put him with the spirit squad instead

JTG got in trouble for scoring with a girl? How was he suppose to know another guy had his eye on the girl? Unless there are key details missing, this seems like quite a stupid scenario. Simon Dean got in trouble for wanting to better a segment? Really... cause we can all agree that every segment the WWE has ever done has always been amazing, 10 outta 10, awesomeness? Faulting a guy for wanting to put the best possible show on seems absurd to me, especially when Piper himself seemingly had no problem with it... it should have been on Piper to decide if the situation called for "wrestlers court" or not.

1000 squats... I was in the Army and got into a smoke session. 3 hours of torture. Push ups overhead arm claps squats and the worst part 6 miles of lunges. But boy did it make me strong

I hope that wrestlers court keeps going despite Rollins opinion on it. It sounds like the best way to keep people in line without Vince getting involved which usually ends in firings, absurd fines and a black mark against you.

when i was a young soldier, i wanted to leave the motorpool to go for a smoke. my sergeant allowed it, if i lunged all the way there and back. it wasent the biggest motorpool, but our troop had to be all the way at the back, lol. and yes, i did it.

a thousand squats was only 1/3 of a corrective action my platoon in basic received. the remainder were 1k flutterkicks, and 1k pushups. rotating in sets of 10. that was a very long day indeed.

It tends to be the leader of the locker room rather than management so I would have thought that was Reigns. Angle , Cena and Trips don't wrestle enough nowadays to be in that position. Although, they will be considered respected elders.

Wrestlers court sounds like a good idea to prevent disputes between workers until you realize most of the time it was used to punish guys for the slightest perceived slights... sometimes wrestlers are worse than children.

I recall hearing in the show after Benoit's death, that he made him do a 1000 squats, and the next day he made him do 600 more. It was one of the stories some of the wrestler told, i think it was triple h, that told that story making a point about how much benoit called for respect of others.

When I was in prison, for my birthday the 'skin heads' gave me a choice. 1000 push ups and 1000 squats in one day or lose my 3 meals for a month...I couldn't walk or lift anything for 2 days. I feel his pain. Happy birthday I guess? Lol.
