Even to flat earthers... (I'm not one). But if doing yer own science and research is the result of Flat earthers touting their beliefs, I say let 'em do their research. Maybe we will all learn something, although what that is, I am not sure.

@@suddenlyfrogs9504 That story may've been from some writer but there actually are stories and tales about people, not just rangers but campers, bikers, hikers, etc coming across strange staircases in the middle of forests. I think you can even find some pictures online of some. They don't all look a like. Idk what they are or why they are there, but it's definitely creepy.

Ever hear a fisher cat scream? That will put you into swift panic, especially hearing it for the first time as a young kid and have wandered off a little too deep into the back forest. Thank goodness my friend was with me and assured me he knew exactly what it was and we were okay. Since then I've heard fisher cats that sounded like crying women, screaming women and screaming kids. It makes me feel better anytime I hear screaming in the woods and I force myself to first assume it's just a fisher cat, helps me approach these situations with a little more calm

I seen one near on my property last summer. Had to have been at least 4’ long. It was running then stopped, stood on his back legs and glared at me. Probably wasn’t 30 yards away. Then turned and ran off in to the forest. Never made a sound.

Panther's also make that sound. Ive heard them alot down in alabama and florida. It sounds like a women screaming. The scariest thing i saw down there was a gaint snake. It was bigger than any other snake i have seen to this day. We ran over it with a car and almost wrecked. Everybody in the car hit there heads on the ceiling. After that i always carried a shotgun.

In regards to the first story; he fired his revolver into the woods he says “entire revolver cartridge”. It would be more like “I emptied my whole cylinder into the woods.” A cartridge is the bullet and case together with the propellant (gun powder) inside. Not trying to be nit picky but firearms is one of my hobbies so I’m just wanting to get things straight.

I waited patiently watching him eat. Suddenly, I felt a chill over my spine, and an odd, soft dark blue light was emitted from the sink, or from that direction. A metallic voice said something like, "Brady(my dog's name) Geuradi Hockersmith(my last name)- and cut off abruptly. This was many, many years ago, and my dog has since died. ALL decently sized woods can be a danger at night. You're out in the wild away from safety and rescue workers, and away from all the comforts and conveniences of society. Finally, and most importantly of all, you are totally out in nature. Out in a part of the world that humanity doesn't have any control over. You are at the mercy of nature, and while it is not malicious, it IS uncaring, and even cruel at times.

I wish that i was one of you that never saw anything in the woods like this.. I am not.. It would not be a wasted wish.. though, I have too seen things that changes who you are and everything you thought the world was. I have seen a creature that can only be described as a large werewolf big foot type creature in the Shawnee National Forest 1989. It was not a person in a suit..It was a living animal that was unlike anything your mind could understand. It changes who you are and your entire understanding of this life. You are given a glimpse behind the curtain and you wish only to be who you were before you ever saw such a thing. I was not alone. A friend was with me..saw it too... And has basically been attempting to drink himself to death ever since. He was never the same either. So, all of you that say you wish you could see one...Be Careful what you wish for.

Cami, woods stories are almost always the scariest! I couldn't imagine being a forest ranger, especially the deep woods type..I've been terrified of the woods my whole life! (And I live in Maine..the woods are a stone's throw from me in any direction!!)
@Prettykitty111
@Prettykitty111 6 жыл бұрын
I agree ! They are the most terrifying, I live in Los Angeles so I’m always in the city but whenever I go to the forest to go hiking I always keep these stories at the back of my mind ......part of me actually wouldn’t mind seeing a Bigfoot or Skinwalker 🤔 the forests and hiking trails out here are densely populated tho so all the boogeyman are hiding

Best Anthology of creepy Forest stories I’ve ever heard (& I avidly search for tales of this sort). Covered nearly every phenomenon in just 5 stories! The stair cases are by far my favorite but the Wendigo description was absolutely harrowing! Thank you for putting this together soo excited to check out the rest of your content because this being the 1st I’ve heard from your channel it’s bound to only get better!!!

I use to live in the Adirondacks 'in a little town called COLD BROOK .I use to love to hike through the mountains .I was walking next to a small stream when I smelled something dead .I glanced around and about 20 yards from me I saw a big foot 'it was standing behind a tree looking around at me but It was not brown or black 'it was snow white .I started backing away and got out of there and never went hiking again .
