Seriously? Did you not see how big edge and christian were when they were a tag team? Christian was a star. It just his solo run wasnt good because he was in a era where the rock, hhh, stone cold, undertaker, kurt angle. Etc existed in and then batista, cena, lesnar, eddy guerrero, chris beniot, shawn micheals, randy orton were there also it just there was much better talent and higher star power than him in wwe thats why he couldnt do much as solo wrestler but he was an big star as tag team.

Tuhin Roy and Eric Bishop. They tired wayyy to hard to turn TNA into WCW 2.0 and it failed. My favorite run was during the early days right threw when Christian Cage was the champ. I liked the additions of Sting and Kurt Angel, but after that it just went downhill.

That's stupid how was it thanks to hogan. Hogan got there highest rated tv segment got them there largest attendances. had the loudest pop in tna history (vs sting at bfg) probably sold more merchandise than any other impact wrestler ever. As soon as hogan left they lost a million viewers a week. So how exactly is hogan to blame? If anyone's to blame it's Dixie carter for screwing up the spike tv deal

@@jordanne05 do you even know HOW MUCH THE YOUNG TALENTS were FRUSTRATED getting pay cut, for those big stars. Huge amount of money TNA lost during 2011-2013.

Tuhin Roy they went for it and so they should. Casual fans that was lost during the start of the millennium are not going to tune in to see young guys they have never heard of. You need stars people recognise and feel nostalgic about. Then blend that with young guys and get the casual fans you now have the attention of to be interested In the young guys aswell. I honestly think the biggest problems tna had was 1) Dixie Carter 2) been too much like the wwe 3) been stupid with there story lines (when Samoa joe got kidnapped and it never got explained).

Christian will always be known for having a better run in TNA than in WWE. I know a lot of the comments say that, but it’s true. Even though wwe had finally let Christian be a two time world champion, it still doesn’t compare to the NWA championship reigns he had in TNA. Along with a lot of other talents WWE has had for the past couple decades, Christian is somewhere at the top of the list that deserved more recognition in WWE.

Edge and Christian were a phenomenal tag team, one of the best ever and despite me not liking Edge as a character he was undoubtedly destined for the main event. Christian was also great as a singles wrestler but not necessarily a main event one. I personally liked his character a lot more than I liked Edge but I don't think he was WWE main event material. I'm certainly not putting him down and there were times when it would've worked or made sense to have him as a main eventer. But not everyone can or should become a main event wrestler and the ones who wrestle as mid carders or below are often just as important. That's what made eras like the attitude era work so well and why it was so entertaining and unmissable from the beginning of each show right to the end. Mid card guys like Goldust, Al Snow, Road Dogg and Val Venis were all on my favourites list as a kid and were as important for the success and evolution of the company as guys like Stone Cold and The Rock. Just because Christian wasn't usually portrayed as a main event guy who competed in main event WWE Championship PPV matches every month does not mean he wasn't and isn't appreciated by both the fans and the company.

I know in the past that TNA/Impact always regard Bound for Glory as their marquee supercard event like WrestleMania/Starrcade/WrestleKingdom etc but I’ve always regarded Slammerversary as their main Supercard PS you should change your name back to TNA and have Impact be the name of your main TV Show

I find it hilarious that at the end of the video where they show you a red tinted photo of a bunch of wrestlers who every single one are WWE superstars. Kurt Angle. Sting. Bobby Rhoode. Samoa Joe. AJ Styes and Hulk Hogan.

It's called marketing? They are promoting their app? Kurt and Sting spent more time in TNA/Impact than they did in WWE. Bobby, Joe and AJ are all originals and will forever be associated with it. Hogan has his last ever wrestling match in TNA. Don't see the problem personally.

I agree. You can't avoid the originals that made and elevated the TNA name. Yeah they're not affiliated anymore but they became a staple for their franchise and it would not be smart to brush it under the carpet.
