I just took the PMP exam passed. I must confess your study guide really helped especially the mindset. I had most of my questions from the agile mindset

I just took the PMP and passed in August 2022… everything Andrew is saying is true. First, it’s still a really difficult test and my particular test was very heavy in PMBOK 6. Lots of questions on project documents, ITTO’s, people management/conflict resolution, closing procedures, initiating and also Agile. There was only a few question I can remember hat were explicitly from PMBOK 7.

Hii will, Since you have taken the exam recently, may I ask you a question? I heard like 20% of the questions are based on 7th edition..was it like that?

@@faheemarp7648 my test was very heavy into PMBOK 6 and the Agile practice guide. The vast majority of questions were situational and structured like this: “A PM for a company is in charge of the development of product X. Senior management wants to a new feature added late in the development cycle. What should the PM do first:” So you have to use what you know from multiple sources to choose the best answer. Many of the questions have multiple right answers but one answer is better than the rest.

Hi Will, did you use any specific mock exams or simulator? I felt the assessment of Andrew was quite manageable as compared to other udemy assesments.

I am preparing for my PMP exam. Should i start reading with PMBOK 6th Edition first or start with PMBOK Guide 7th edition.

PMI is a business, that´s all. And that´s why they have to change things in order to sell The PM BOk new editions and to get the people attentive to the new guides and the things they are going to include in the following exams... In fact, the people that take the exams to get the PMP do it because they have no experience in project management and the certificate helps them to improve their resumé. The people that normally work managing projects are more attentive to the tools such as new software, new ways of communication, and remote activities rather than to know the new PMBOK guide.
