In this video, we discuss about 5 new medical colleges proposed in Tamil Nadu, for the academic year 2024-2025. These medical colleges have applied to NMC to commence MBBS admission from 2024-25. We discuss about these new medical colleges and number of MBBS seats offered by these new medical colleges. We also discuss about the total number of medical colleges in Tamil Nadu and the number of MBBS seats offered by them.

On the way to Muttam beach this Kanyakumari Medical College and research centre is located. I have seen this college recently...big campus. Totally away from city or main road

The official fees is 24.9 lacs + hostel and mess fees. The exact fees may vary slightly depending on the college. Criteria: The candidate should be an NRI or sponsored by an NRI. The sponsor should be a close relative (father/ mother/ brother/ sister/ grandparents/ brother or sister of parents/ children of brother or sister of parents).

Sir, will jipmer allow oci to apply for general category seats and will the fees be on par with general category? Or oci can apply only for NRI seat

@@Karthika1981 there are no NRI seats in JIPMER. You can apply only under the general category. Fees is same for everyone.

If you study well, you do not need to worry about all these. Government may not be in a position to run all medical colleges. TN has the most number of government medical colleges in India. So, you should be happy about it. Think about students in some of the other states, where there are very few government medical colleges.

Most of these proposed colleges will have a government quota (deemed universities will not have government quota). We do not know the current status of their approval. We have to wait to know whether these colleges will be included in this year's counseling.

Sir KMMC COMES UNDER ST. JOSEPH UNIVERSITY which is the TAMIL NADU private University. It is promoted by DMI Foundations. A Christian Minority Institutions by Sisters and Fathers.

Last year, it closed at 373 marks. So, I don't know whether it will come down to 320 marks. You can keep it as your number one choice and have more colleges in the choices as backup.
