Great ideas. For the luggage straps - in addition to what you explained for security - we always get ones with vibrant colors so that it’s easy to see our luggage from a distance. No one has ever had the combination of my suitcase color and my luggage strap print colors. So fun!

We have Samsung Air tags. No fees. They work great. Great peace of mind knowing where the luggage is for our recent trip to Florida to board ship for Panama crossing.

I have 7 cruises between next Monday and April and, honestly, your first review was a lightbulb moment because now I know what to do with the fanny pack I have that doesn't fit my waist anymore. 🤣I never thought of putting it over my shoulder.

We have AirTags for our iPad and Samsung tags for our phones. Samsung, no extra charge and actually more reliable pin point for tracking. Love both

Great video Sharon, I’ve been following you for a long time. Suggestion: you should redo some old videos like this since probably most of the links are obsolete. So you could replace with more up to date products. The old videos helped me a lot back then.

We have always used belts, I saw one day a piece of luggage opened with all the clothes scattered everywhere, and I said, this is not going to happen to us, so from that day on, belts on them. Great video, thank you!

Thanks for the suggestion for the luggage straps. Previous videos I have seen you had the straps. Through the airport terminal, our luggage had busted.😢 we wished we had the straps.😊 Air tags also come in Tiles for Android users.

On a recent group tour to Switzerland, because I had an AirTag in my luggage I was able to let our group leader know that our bags had not been picked up from our hotel by the luggage service the tour was using. That allowed her to get with the luggage service to see what was going on long before our train reached our next destination. As it was we didn’t get our bags until 8 pm but it would have been even later if I hadn’t given her the early heads up. On that same trip, one person never received her checked bag while on the trip. For 5 of those days Air Paris told her they had no idea where her bag was. If she had had an AirTag she could have given them her bag’s location so that they had a place to start looking. So, yes, AirTags are a must for me.

Great tip for the air tags. We don't have iPhone either but our son does.

Do you have one of those silicone holders for your curling iron? It acts as a heat mat while it heats and then allows you to pack it while it's still hot/warm. Think of it like a rubbery oven mitt for your curling iron. I love mine. I never travel without it.

I used the luggage straps on 3 of our suitcases for our flight to Seattle . When we got there only 1 suitcase had the straps on it, they took them off to look in the luggage and didn’t bother to put them back on, just rude, how would they like it if it happened to themselves

QUESTION... my family are all Android ph users, so we would need an air tag for Android phones. Do you suggest that it's better to buy expensive ones?? Or will a cheaper version work just as good?

Wife and I are headed to Athens for a 28 day HAL cruise. We have never cruised before and wondered if we are packing too much luggage. We are taking 2 checked bags 2 carry-on and 2 personal items. Any thoughts on this? Love the channel!

I bought the belts but the first time I used them, my luggage arrived with them missing. Not sure it they were taken, got caught on something or broke but that was my experience. Now I just make sure I don't overpack and don't worry about it (though I know bags can still break).
