This year I’m trying to reframe things a little different… instead of thinking of what I can do different, I spent some time thinking about what I wanted to let go of 2023 and what changes I made in 2022 that I want to continue or strengthen. Makes me feel like I’ve already got some momentum for the start of the year 😂 also nice to feel like I’ve left some things behind that weren’t serving me ❤ Happy New Year to you and your family! 🎉

@Angela Lanter Helloeee from Australia, oh yes I sure did learn a lot from this video and made me think a bit, especially about using safe, cleaning products.🤔 I am not one for New Years resolutions but I am a firm believer in maintaining self care habits. So my thing for this year is more self care and time out for myself ( I am a full time carer for my 2 frail, vulnerable elderly parents, it has been quite hard.). I am really good in the fitness department as I run an hour each day in the fresh air and and I am walking vegetable from tons of veggies I eat. But I really need to read more books, bed time at same time... and I need to stick to the tiny little steps of things that I need to do and not overwhelm, pressure or stress myself to get it all done at once.

I will never make a New Year's resolution anymore. I think they're overhyped and over rated. It's good if you can stick to it, but I said last year in 2022 that it was going to be the best year. In May 2022 my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and then a couple weeks later we lost her. Two months after that I found out a man I used to date was murdered. My father also received a dementia diagnosis also in 2022. Never again!

I am so very sorry to hear about your tragic 2022 and the loss of your mother. I am in the same frame of mind, I don't believe in resolutions as they don't work in the end. Life is so unexpected and I don't make long term plans because life just gets in the way, and then you get disappointed. I live for the now, the moment.
