Soo the mega timeline is like the multiverse

1. finally something that relies on the ultimate weapon being fired in the timelines of gens 3-5 2. I don't like how this theory retcons x and y trying to be the same timeline as gens 1-5 3. this theory is really plausible and really dark but I can't think of anything wrong with this theory 4. I think I will check out the video after I finish this one 5. doesn't make sense once you consider the draconids only exist in the oras timeline (as far as we know)

That's actually what happens. In ORAS thanks to Mega-Evolution you destroy the meteor instead, but in RZE as there is no Mega Rayquaza you actually teleport the meteor to Team Red's dimension, where yeah, Rayquaza also destroys it.

There is no Canon timeline. There are pieces of evidence to make a timeline, but no official statement.

Alternate universes are canon (Gen 5 exemplifies that pretty well). So the general rules are there, but not the details that totally confirms it.

although he was in those games, this theory still might work though. deoxys was always obtainable only through special event's. and it was always found on some uncharted island somewhere.... where am going with this is, there was ANOTHER timeline very closely similar to oras..... but there was a different outcome in THAT particular version of oras... and that is. . . they actually wen't through with the plan that zinnia thwarted in OUR version of oras. they opened up the gate way to that parallel dimension to ditch the meteor, thinking that it was gonna destroy all of hoen unless they did that. but in reality.... there was never any danger of that happening. am not exactly sure... but the reason the meteor was none lethal was because of deoxys itself. from space observation, it LOOKED like it was gonna do that, not knowing that deoxys was within. after it crashed in that other dimension, deoxys basically slowed the fall where it landed harmlessly on an uncharted island somewhere close to hoen(or maybe.... that island WAS the meteor?)..... now I know this doesn't explain everything.... such as the pokedex entry having knowledge that some laser from space hit it and it turned into deoxys.... but on account that there has ALWAYS been problems with dex entries that has resulted in the memes of professor oak being a time lord.... well..... I guess that means hes a dimension hopping god as well. . . . . (lmao)

@@liamhill6487 a stretch of logic is a stretch of logic.... either way, the whole multi verse thing was gamefreaks idea, not mine. my personal take on it was taken from a Canonical prospective. all I was trying to suggest is that deoxy's in hoen, from the gba era, could still potentially fit in with oras time line(cuz remember, multi verse shenanigans are involved Now). However.... Yes, I do acknowledge that I could be wrong about that. its also good to keep in mind that game freak DOES have a bit of a history of planning things, WAY ahead of schedule, so there's that too. .

well maybe in the games that had no mega evolutions did involve AZ use the laser but it failed to peform whatever task it was (i forgot something to do with that floette) or didn't hit back to earth however it still hit Deoxys

The mega story is a bit weird, in one set of games (X/Y) Lucario was the first mega and the megas somehow had a relation with a mass destruction weapon. In another set (ORAS) the first mega was Rayquza, who doesn't even need a mega stone and (as far as I remember) doesn't seem to have any relation with such weapon whatsoever.

@@aikou2886 That's because Rayquaza already had a shitload of energy inside of it (thanks to a healthy diet of pure Energy-filled Meteors) All of those small amounts of energy stored together "added up to 1 Mega Stone". The whole city Praying for Ray-Quay-Quay's help funtioned like "the bond with the Trainer" Those 2 conditions together were almost the same as those required for Mega-Evo to occur. Conclusion-Never change the Ingredients or you'll end up with a shit so Broken is even Broken in the Tier made for the Broken

The fact that these workers were also forced to work their ass off with no expected breaks and on top of their jobs being extremely stressful and dangerous could’ve meant an accident occurred and 108 vengeful spirits came together to form spiritomb trying to find their former employer to do who knows what.

Seeing the slogans, you could tell a lot of abuse was prevalent in the work force, worship, life endangerment, giving up your sanity, working all day and with no time off or vacation, the fact you HAVE to obey your superiors could be taken a lot of ways. People could’ve been taken advantage of, they could’ve been physically abused, sexually abused, emotionally abused. All of this could lead to a very, very vengeful and murderous spiritomb.

Spiritomb could also be the superiors, every supervisor to manager had power over their workers and judging by their rules they were definitely not turning into a blissey in the after life.

It’s just so heartbreaking and gut wrenching how these workers were treated, and this is a fictional game aimed mostly at 10 year old kids with no concept of work regulations and what’s basically cult worship

I know this is an old comment but actually there's hints that they were. Mauville eventually got exposed and went bankrupt and all their projects shut down, but Devon only became a big company afterward. If I remember right you find an old man in Rustboro who says back when he worked, Devon was just a little company and I think a display in the building says they got their start in pharmaceuticals (like potions and stuff I guess). Then in the remains of Sea Mauville you can find old vials and worn out advertising for Devon products. So even if they didn't work together directly, it seems either the Devon founder or the current President Stone (Trumm?) knew enough about the Mauville's business to take up their place as a lead in research and technology for Hoenn.

I just brought that up due to a comment, of guess which corporate president in the OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire volumes, were he plain out stated that Devon and Mauville were rivaling companies. My understanding is it's an area in deep space that houses an infinite amount of portals to alternate universes. It's not that it takes many light years to get to the alternate universes, just the portals to them.
