👋We’re Matt & Karla, a Canadian couple with two totally different backgrounds.
Matt is the “quintessentially Canadian”, born under the northern lights in Northern Alberta with family all over the country, whereas Karla is originally from Mexico City, bringing a totally fresh perspective to a country she has fallen in love with.
Over the past 10 years, we have travelled to 42 countries spanning six continents, which has given us the expertise to plan amazing trips and find memorable experiences.
In 2017, we decided to explore our own massive backyard with Road to 150, a 150-day #roadtrip across #Canada, witnessing the beauty and diversity of this country and sharing our experiences through video, pictures, social media, and articles. I live downtown (west side)and have never heard of the first Street market...I will def have to go for a walk today... For the churros... Hopefully bring back some memories of Spain

Best way to experience new food is to go with someone who is from there. Otherwise most ppl end up eating only what you're familiar with. I admit I drooled on my pillow watching this

That was fabulous. However, you missed the most important evaluation: which restaurant did the twins like best? Of course, they didn't eat anything (yet), but they BOTH seemed VERY INTERESTED in the churrea you were eating. Which restaurant did the twins seemed bored in? Which restaurant did the twins like the atmosphere and vibe? Otherwise, I'm now wanting to come to Calgary to try them all. Thanks
