I shared this video with my daughter. She showed it to her eight and a half year old twin boys. They got so excited. They peeled and cut up sweet potatoes for my daughter. Then one of them made the Strawberry Pretzel Pacheco Dessert. When I saw the video, I thought how cool it would be to have that dessert as a tradition!

I make the Jiffy corn casserole every year! My MIL called it "corn pudding" so that's our name for it. I like that it reheats well and keeps a few days in the fridge.

Hope you’re feeling much better. I have made all these recipes except the rolls. I think I will try them! The idea of making homemade bread always gives me anxiety but you’ve made it look so simple. If you like water chestnuts try adding them to your stuffing. It was a game changer for my family! Being in the south, of course we use a little day old cornbread in our stuffing as well. My family loves the sweet potato casserole.

Our family has made a version of that stuffing for generations. Take out the rosemary and parsley and add poultry seasoning.

Yum. We also make roasted carrots. 350 to 400 degree oven coated with either maple syrup or honey. Bake until soft. I just see if I can get a fork in it.

I add chopped walnuts to the stuffing at the vegetable saute stage.

The rolls look so fantastic, and it’s amazing that a yeast roll only needs about 20 min for a single rise!! Definitely trying those! I’ve never had corn casserole, but I’ve had corn pudding (lived in the south for 13 years) and there’s no Jiffy mix in it, a lot of milk, and it’s more like a slightly sweet/slightly savory custard…and it’s delicious. I love Jiffy corn muffin mix, so I might try that this year!

Been making the Jiffy casserole for 20 years! It's a Thanksgiving staple at my house. My family calls it corny cornbread. Love your channel! Love that your meals are things that normal people can actually make! Not everyone has access to exotic ingredients and all day to prepare them!

I make this corn casserole all of the time. It is so good. You can substitute plain yogurt if you don’t have sour cream. It turns out beautifuly
