I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

when Coach DeBoer decided to not kick the FG on 4th and 2, he nearly costed Washington the game. but they prevailed. when everyone in the media wrote them off. i’m glad Washington won, the final Pac-12 Championship

Despite a couple drops from McMillan early on, 2 tough 4th & goal TD's by the Ducks, even a couple questionable calls including that one at the end of the first half, Huskies still find a way to win...beating a resilient, dominant Ducks team TWICE this year. I guess the haters were wrong. Go Huskies!!! Great conference title for the toughest conference this year, and good luck in the CFP!!

I kept telling Ducks fans to be careful what they wish for. “We want an undefeated Washington team so we can kick their @$$e$ in the PAC-12 Championship Game.” I heard variations of that phrase repeated over and over again. Oregon was what, 9.5 point favorites? Good game be the team, but I am curious to see what kinds of excuses Oregon fans will have about this game. Perhaps they’ll hope Michigan or Georgia will beat Washington since they couldn’t do it themselves. 🤔 This game was an instant classic, and another one right down to the wire. What a game!!

@@drumagus2258 They last played Michigan in 2021, before Penix and the resurgence of the UW football program. DeBoer is doing a great job recruiting and coaching. Penix won’t be there next year, so I’m curious to see who’ll start at QB for Washington in their first year in the B1G. It’s imperative they focus on recruiting top defensive players, and being in the B1G will help with recruiting.

This was an awesome game b/w 2 heisman trophy candidates. Penix and Nix each traded picks in the 3rd quarter, but in the end, Michael Penix has more plays down the stretch. The thing I worry about Washington is the play of their defense giving up big plays in the CFP

While I am not an Oregon fan, I am a fan of Coach Dan Lanning. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia, long time fan and supporter as a 35 year season ticket holder. Coach Lanning was a good coach at Georgia and was happy for him personally but disappointed he left Georga Having said that,I will support the Ducks and believe they will win. Good luck to Coach Lanning and Oregon.

Washington coaches need to realize that rushing 3 is defeatist. Every time they rush 3, the opposing team either gets a first down or a touchdown. STOP RUSING 3!

The announcer was biased toward Nix saying “there is a Heisman moment there”! What actually happened is that Penix had “Heisman moments” all night long but the turkey never said anything about that! The Ducks only made it close with “luck plays”. Huskies are the better team beating them twice! Go Dawgs! Great game!
