Somewhere here on KZfaq there is a video that has Irena in the audience and there is a woman reading a letter about how her grandparent had been one of the kids saved by her. The host then asked if there was anyone else in the audience that have been the saved by the result of this wonderful woman. The entire audience raised their hands. This woman saved A LOT of people.

Matt, as a Polish person I don't know how to thank you enough for mentioning Irena Sendler! I've read a lot about her and to me she was a superhero. Not many people outside Poland have ever heard about her, but she was truly an amazing person. Thank you again! ❤
