I’m an older person that has fine, low density hair. My hair loves protein, but too much moisture weighs it down. I agree with you on the Curlsmith shampoos. I haven’t cared for them either. I like the strength line stylers from Curlsmith, it works well for me. Curlsmith has a new volume line which I’m interested in trying. I hope that you will be able to try it and review. I value your opinion.

I actually love the Curlsmith shampoo you were holding! Also adore the Wash & Scrub... Both sister conditioners are amazing too!

It's funny, little by little, I'm weeding out many products I have for the same exact reason! My hair is super soft and has thinned alot over the past few years (I'm 55) so I hardly use conditioners, curl creams or leave-ins. My curls look best using a gentle clarifying shampoo with a strong hold gel. I like Ouidad gel and gels from Boucleme that are hold hold. I like gels that make my hair "crunchy" because after I scrunch out the crunch, I'll have the best hold. Thanks for the video!

I watch your videos and whatever your hair seems to not like my hair seems to love because mine is fairly coarse and dry. I gotta give some of these products a try!

I believe it's the humidity in the air. I have Medium to coarse hair, medium density, normal porosity and have 3c4a hair. The thing is i 100% agree with you. I live in Puerto Rico and the humidity here is high almost all year around.

Yes, when it's humid your products don't need to have as much moisture.

My hair agrees with your hair on all those products except 2: the bounce curl's gel & the curl fresh definer. My curls love both of those. The BC gel doesn't weigh me down & I actually get great hold from it. The CFD works really well with the AG liquid effects gel for my curls! But the rest of those products you mentioned I'm right there with ya

My hair is the opposite, and absolutely LOVES Curlsmith products! I have medium , high porosity hair and it's Blonde highlights soak up the protein& moisture in Curlsmith shampoo, conditioner and styling products. That's my favorite brand , along with a couple items from Deva curl and Innersense. 👌

Yes, yes and yes! Love Your Curls was way too heavy for me. My hair was over moisturized for days after using because the products were so heavy. I think the conditioner was the worst but their all-in-one styler just made it worse. I don't understand the obsession with the Bounce Curl gel. It has zero hold. I'm in Arizona so we usually don't have much humidity and it still makes my hair frizzy. Strangely the Curlsmith cowash has been the best of their cleansers for me. The shampoos were never cleansing enough. I would recommend you try their new volumizing line, though. The shampoo actually cleansed my hair and the conditioner has amazing slip without being heavy at all!

Hey there 👋 New sub here! I stumbled upon your video. I'm glad I did. My hair is super fine, medium density and super curly. I always enjoy finding fine curly gals like myself 😊 I agree creams are tricky to work with. I have found that my hair does well with hair milks and a nice mousse. I finally understand that my hair even though it's super curly my hair doesn't do well with very moisturizing products or products that contain too much oil or humectants.

My hair is fine, low density and high porosity and Curlsmith has worked for me the best. I do have a couple Ouidad products though and the BounceCurl Clump and Define Cream has been fab for my hair ❤

Thank you for this video! I'm now into the second month of my Wavy Hair Journey and there are several products I wish I didn't get - a few curl cremes and shampoos that are too moisturizing but thanks to you and a few other Curly Hair educators/influencers I now know better. I'm glad you mentioned the LUS & Bounce Curl gels b/c I had them on my wishlist but have now taken them off. I have a lot of InnerSense and Evolvh on my wishlist. Have you tried any Flora & Curl prodcuts? Would also love to hear what you think about styling lotions for fine low density hair. Thank you for all that you do Delilah!

I've noticed curl Smith shampoos all have the same base formula, they all use the same surfactants, and the extracts are usually the only real difference between them. I don't like their shampoos either. I never get a lather from them even washing twice (and no it's not due to buildup, I clarify regularly).

My low porosity hair hates most popular products. My hair loves protein and hates moisture, so that eliminates 99% of curly hair products 😂

A lot of these didn’t work for me either, the bounce curl gel works ok as a topper for me though

Yeah, that gel works if I layer something else over it, but I'm not a fan of layering gels on my hair.

I disliked every Curlsmith product that I’ve tried. They are all too heavy on the moisture, and didn’t have enough hold.

I have fine and low density. The only CS Shampo is the purple line (protein). When I use the orange line my stylers products has to be with some protein

Yeah, even the purple one doesn't work for me. The new volume one might according to others' experiences.
