I've always wanted to try the "smashed" potatoes...they all look delicous. You should make small flower arrangement in your blue glass and sit it where you can see it ..so when you go past it..you will have a memory. Take care.

My grandma used to feed her long haired cats a little bit of butter 3 or 4 times a week. She said it helps with hairballs. When I had a my cat, I gave her butter too. She was right! Grandma was always right!!!

An elderly man saved the bowls that came in oatmeal boxes! He gave us 6! We still have 5!! Our 53 anniversary was July 5th! He was so sweet! He passed away about 5 yrs ago and was almost 98! My perception of elderly has now changed! He was a young bachelor when he gave them to us! Lol

I am teaching my 10 year old grandson to cook. In the matter of 4 times now he can make his own cheese omelet. This grandma is so proud. He has decided he wants to be a chef and he tells me I am the best cooker lol. He has decided next time he comes to stay he wants my ribs. Mandy, wonderful recipes! When we grill out, we scrub potatoes cut them in half score them in a crosshatch pattern on the inside and put a pat of butter and a bay leaf on them. Then we put the two sides together wrap them in aluminum foil and grill them until tender.

All these recipes look amazing! I am going to try them all! My husband and I were stationed at Pope AFB in Fayetteville back in 92-95. It was our first assignment out of officer school. He spent 33yrs in. Just retired a few years ago. He did 8yrs enlisted and 25yrs as an officer. Lots of moving, lots of him being gone over the years. How many years were you guys in?

My cousin and I both love to cook. We started getting together every other Sunday where we pick out all new recipes to try. Appetizer, main dish, side and dessert. It’s so fun coming together to pick out the recipes and then cook together. These videos are coming in clutch!!!! And I love the website. It’s so useful. These are all getting pinned to our board!!!

Ok, the French onion will be my 1st try. Then the smashed potatoes will be next. I will then work my way through the remaining ones. I love your story about the glass!! I love your channel. It always makes me smile and sometimes even laugh out loud, which could get me committed since I'm a retired 70 yr old that lives alone. My “baked” potato soup actually uses “baked” potatoes! Once they’ve baked and cooled enough to handle, cube them up, skin on or skin off, smash some for creaminess, leave some in cubes. Then combine with butter, onions and flour (your rue) milk and green onions. Once thickened, add shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream and bacon pieces, off the heat, and stir to combine. So easy! So delicious! And so legit because it uses actual “baked” potatoes❣️

Hi Mandy. These recipes are great! I am definitely going to make the French Onion potatoes! Funny coincidence: Our first home kitchen colors were navy and yellow 😃 I bought these cute little duck canisters at the flea market. One of them broke, but the other three have survived our thirty four years of marriage 🥰 “It’s your time to shine cheese lover”. Hilarious!😂😂

They all look really, really good, I can't decide which one sounds best...guess I'll just have to try them all!!! I sometimes roast potatoes coated with olive oil, and then sprinkled with powdered ranch dressing mix, or taco seasoning...now I'm wondering if it would be good to use both ranch and taco seasoning together? Potatoes really lend themselves to the imagination don't they? You can flavor them with just about anything. Think outside the box where all of the best ideas live!!! 🍃🤗🍃

My hubby and I have been married 22 years as well and it's so funny to me because waaaaay back then my color scheme was....blue and yellow. 😆 I've got several little things that are still with us all these years later some being some tea towels I bought before we even got engaged that I knew I'd one day use in my blue and yellow kitchen. Memories, you brought them right back to me! lol My Mr. is in the Coast Guard and our first apt. together was in SC.

First, let me say, I thought you "glass" story was very sweet. I can dig why it means so much to you. As for these FABULOUSLY, SIMPLE & DEEE-LICIOUS potato recipes. I eat potatoes practically everyday, so learning new recipes is a BIG PLUS! The first one I'm making (I have all the ingredients) is the "French Onion Potatoes". Then I absolutely have to try the "Pesto Mashed Potatoes". And, your reactions when you do the taste really helps us truly see how YUMMY they are. Please keep bringing us NEW and YUMMY recipes. We always loved when my dad made it. He made it most Sundays for dinner. He would leave chunks in it. When mom made it she didn’t leave many chunks. We also leave some of the water from boiling them. And just add milk to that.

I live alone so I know potatoes freeze well so I have left overs all the time. I put these potatoes in serving sizes in foil packs , freeze them and I have them ready to heat as a side for my meal. After I put them in my foil I then put the foil pack in a freezer bag for more protection. I put them all in a gallon freezer bag to keep them together. Fun recipes. If there is a better way to freeze my portion amounts I welcome the ideas.

Those garlic, parmesan crushed potatoes, I have made them before and they are AWESOME, thanks for reminding me. FAB recipes Mandy, little tip, don't chop your rosemary, the individual leaves crisp up when you cook them and they are fabulous. Love these recipes, thanks for sharing xx

i have made the rosemary and garlic potatoes before but I usually add fresh parmesan for the last few minutes to melt and get crispy ... they are so yummy. Great video and ideas Mandy thank you.

I'm gonna try the French Onion potatoes...They sound delicious...But I loved them all.. I'm a potato eater..I listen with my headphones on and I have a 5 wk old kitten that I have been bottle feeding ..When Gracie started Meowing i unplugged my headphones so the kitten could hear her..She ran up to my phone turning her head back and forth 😅. It was too cute....God bless you guys ..
