for those looking for a better understanding.. any bike with cable actuated throttles (like the zx6) cannot have a auto-blipper because having a cable drawn system thru your hand is the only way to open the throttle body. any bike with an electric throttle body can have a auto blipper added (whether OEM or aftermarket) because the computer controls the throttle body. So effectively the computer can still tell the throttle body to open and blip on a downshift even when your physical throttle indoor hand is closed. QS up is possible regardless of throttle body orientation because the ecu controls an ignition cut (aka shutting off the bike for a millisecond) to unload the transmission to allow it to slip into the next gear.

r6 should’ve never been discontinued

another "con" with this gen is how even though you have a quickshifter its has very jerky 1-3 shift that you can see at 24:35. Once it gets into 3rd and you shift to 4th and up its plain sailing from there.

You should try and get your hands on a Daytona 675 for a review. I LOVED that 600, can't beat the induction sound and it had a lot more torque than the inline 4 600s.

I was lucky enough to get my 2018 R6 for 11k with only 1350 miles

I may be snagging one this summer , I'd put streetfighter handlebars on it, a double bubble windscreen, and gear it lower for more torque. If I can't find a decent price, I snag a fz09 and add a fairing kit

I don’t understand how or why even with the latest 2024 model it still doesn’t have bi-directional quickshifter.

The temp is accessible through the left hand controls. You press down and it cycles through until you get to oil temp.

I have a 2023 I don't know if its different but my has the bar for the gas but I can change it to the digital so it tells me 120 miles
