Well in my view, if a woman cannot ask her man what he would like to eat while he is watching a sports event, or he cannot be interrupted for a quick question, it seems to me either the man is rude and the impatient type, or he feels superior and thinks he is the one who can direct when is a good time to talk. If he arrives home and you cannot ask him how was his day, then he is a difficult person to be around. The woman had her day too and she can still talk. If a man loves his woman, cares for her and respects her, he will be happy to reply, at least in a cursory way (meaning short answer, if he is tired), without having to be rude or obonoxious about being disturbed. There are way of postponing longer discussions without sounding ticked off about it on the spot.

You missed the point completely. It is about putting into balance a woman's narcissistic need for attention with his need to let go of the ridiculous demands and expectations put on men. In a culture where men can do no right and women can do no wrong. Try using your vastly superior feminine emotional depth to look at someone else's needs instead of just your own.

Consideration towards each other is always a good thing. Once in while, having to be careful about those things, fine and good, but if it becomes a rule, I don't feel it is right. Turn the table around and pretend it is the woman arriving home or the woman watching her sport game or soap opera or mini series. Sure it is not a talking time, but to answer one question or two during the whole mini series does not seem the end of the world. And it can or should be easily addressed without being annoyed. The understanding could be that a detailed conversation would be postponed to later. But hey, in the end, what is important is what works for the two persons involved with each other. If there is an understand between the two and they feel ok in their understanding, then great! As long as one does not feel secretly hurt or frustrated internally.

True. Admittedly I do find men tend to waste too much of their lives on things like sports as well. I find looking at a persons values makes all the difference in relationships.

I think her point is pointless stuff that can wait like 15 minutes. It really is ok to wait a few minutes. And everything I read about when he comes home from work is just what she says. Just let him sit down a minute and unwind, I appreciate the same thing. I tried this with my last long term relationship. I would get him a drink, let him take off his shoes and just sit with him a few minutes. The questions of the day can wait. He really appreciated that.

Then before he realised and respond to me, I would walk away leave him shocked without turning my head back hahaha

#3 and #5 can be combine to this: Let a man stay in his flow/groove. Don't interrupt something he's doing, even if it's mindless, unless it's a genuine emergency that needs immediate attention. #1 Might ask that after you got a haircut. Harmless, but don't expect a serious response. #2 Don't be too surprised if he says: "sooo'eeeyy!", "whale on the beach!" or some such in an intentionally exaggerated way. #3 Not unless you're into the game, too. Then if it's about the game and sport, it can be *great.* #4 Like #2, really asking for trouble on this one, especially if the man is a wise-ass. He just might give a far more detailed answer than you asked for.

It's sad that women really think that way , because a relationship is not based on those reasons she just gave is based on partnership and love and having fun together a woman will have to be involved in everything I do and everything we have it's ours not not mine or hers it's ours. Maybe it's because I'm Cuban born and raised in Miami since the 60s . American man's have a different concept than Latinos men. Would hate to have a wife that feels those things she just said, I would prefer to stay single.

Definitely good advice on the How was your day? and other mundane questions... it’s a really bad habit and can open up a can of worms... which is why it’s so annoying, most of the time the can of worms doesn’t need to be opened with proper time to process and relax thus avoiding the need to vent a bunch of negativity into the air unnecessarily... a better option would be to give a hug, smile and kiss “I hope you had a good day” and go about your business for awhile.

I got sick of the question; "How are you feeling?" I started answering, "4". And then refused to elaborate. Many of these questions Engaged at Any Age lists are "S**t Tests" that women apply to men. And guys you need to fail them and stop trying to placate a woman's ego. For example, "Honey, do you think she's prettier than me?" You're response. "I'd F her." It's not a yes or no, and she'll hate your answer and steam about it. But you just let her know who's the Alfa in your relationship. Same for "Does this dress make me look fat?" Your response, "No, it's your fat makes you look fat." Guys, don't put up with s**t tests like this. You're the man, so be that man. If she can't handle it, then she's not worthy of you. More than likely she'll respect you for being the strong leader in your relationship.

The same "don't interrupt sports" would apply to those of us who play video games. I was happy to give my ex attention whenever, but it helped if she would not interrupt right in the middle of something where I was likely to die (in game) or let team members down. Or when in the middle of writing text, code or whatever. The creative inspiration is a pain to get dropped out of since it is not always there.

The first 4 are all about HER and her insecurity. Run, unless you want to answer these questions for the rest of your life. The 5th and last question is okay if done well but be prepared to listen a long time. (Sometimes men want you to ask "What's wrong?")

My problem is that 40 plus women subtlety bring up memorable or concerned experiences from their past with their families or ex's and assume I can relate when I've never had either experience nor interest. Sometimes women become extremely solipsistic unaware that they're disconnecting from a prospective future partner before they've had a chance to start.

Very good and very correct. 2 things; Televised sporting contests of any sort are absolutely riddled with commercials. You only have to wait a few moments to get the break to make your inquiry and not cause any angst. When a man comes home from work, just say hello and give a kiss/hug and let him be for about a half hour before you go into whatever it is that women think is so important they have to hammer their man the moment he comes in the door. Married, LTR, or other, this one is universally true. Lay off for a while. You'll get a much better response too.

These are some great questions never to ask your mate, unfortunately, many of your followers are going to take this recommendation the wrong way. Unless you're in the court of law, it is said never ask a question you already know the answer to. All of these questions either have to do with baiting him which may lead to an argument or timing which could be brought up at a better time as you said.

All fact. If you’re a woman over 50 years old you should know this. Expanding on the sports analogy, don’t ask him any questions when he’s concentrating on anything. Anything. And yes we do notice the weight gain. We are just not allowed to say anything about it.

I wouldn't mind (as much at least" if a woman asked how my day was if she had already shown some interest in my field, what I do, etc. Asking that with no idea is not helpful. Though I would tend to agree that letting him decide what he wants to share is a better approach, though it would probably be good for men to find another outlet to do any complaining.

Seems the unwritten rules about $ no longer apply. I’ve been asked very early in the dating pathway about my finances. Sometimes feel like I need to pull out the phone ( which I put away while on a date ) so I can show her my portfolio summary. Not just gold-diggers either, they all want to know about the Benjamin’s!

Just got a cooled chill of these questions coming back to haunt me at a later date in an argument. Yepper she is definitely from an alternate universe. She is beautiful, I'll giver her that. All people should accept each other as they are, you are either in or out. If you feel bothered by a question so sorry. The most important part of meeting someone is to be compatible and that includes being different and accepted as you are. Love is not remembering valentines day and getting flowers or chocolates not everyone likes them!! Love is to be UNconditional!!! Once that is achieved there will be mutual respect, understanding, loving, generosity from both sides, snd the list goes on. Yes knowing your partner is important to be able to co live in harmony, just a little goes a long way. Most important Be Yourself!!! Everyone is good looking to someone, is just wanting to feel good no matter how you are, its not the clothes that make you its You how you carry yourself. Men and women love a confident partner!!!

I'm married to a sports nut. If you can't ask your man anything until halftime then I feel sorry for you, honestly. I talk to my husband during the game sometimes, just like he talks to me when I'm in the middle of glassblowing which is my fem thing I do (because if we are going to gender sports as male why not gender everything? /endsarcasm). Is this really a representation of what women do dating now? Good grief Martha, get some self-love and self-respect and know you are a queen and a goddess. Good grief! Just a rule of thumb. I do talk to my husband but honestly, I know he's so focused on the game (good one last night) that he's only halfway listening! Take a breath. It's all good. I'm teaching a 10,000' foot view and making general statements for the whole, do what works best for you for sure. I used to glass blow. I sure miss that. Good for you!

Wow ! Really ? If someone disappears after only 2 dates because it was too soon to have sex with them , then it's good they did leave because that's all they wanted out of a so called relationship. In the past I've refused to have sex with a woman purely because i don't know her well enough yet.

A good question with an extremely easy answer. I don't want to be correct in this but unfortunately I am. Nowadays, "getting sex" is extremely easy. So If a person is with a partner who is holding back, and he is a horny guy like most are, why would he hang around when he can get that elsewhere??. And he doesn't come back because he feels bad about what he has done, doesn't want to cheat on you so just leaves you. Moves to someone who does have sex early on. Also if a woman doesn't want to have sex it could also mean that her sex drive is low, and that could spell disaster later on. So he leaves before he gets in too deep, or not deep enough, as the case may be ......

Thank you. Very helpful video. I just wish that I could find someone. I am 55 now and I am scared that I will never find anyone and be alone for the rest of my life. I am just too ugly and don't feel very worthy. Oh well. Everything you say in this video, makes sense. I am not sure what to do now. Also, I think many men are attractive. However, that does not mean that I am in love with them all, so that should not be a problem.

How come I’ve never even thought to ask a man what he’s thinking? That sounds very insecure- I’ve never wondered what a man was thinking.... but I hear this so much in the dating world that women ask this . It’s absolutely just odd to ask a man that, instead Of enjoying the man. Hm. Asking a man if she looks fat. Wow! Get on a healthy meal plan and excersize if you feel fat. 😀 Is she prettier than me? #4 only women with low self esteem or self worth will ask this kind of question. 5# probably works for people with regular jobs, but not if you are married to or dating a US Soldier, who brings work home, and soonest he comes home and the phone rings, cause one of his lower enlisted Soldiers acted crazy or got in trouble, usually he will rant soonest he walked in the door, that he had such a horrible day, adult babysitting a bunch of wussies and winers, who are getting their feelings hurt, without common sense..... especially if it is your Soulmate or Twinflame, I can just sensor that something is wrong, and before he says hi honey, he is already venting about his day.....
