It’s ridiculous that the alleged victim isn’t listened to. I can understand in some, serious cases. But minor or no real injury cases that occur one time, the alleged victim’s wishes should count for a lot more. These kind of cases make life harder on families, when many times the circumstances aren’t serious at all.

I wanted joint custody of our toddler daughter. Out of the blue, she accused me of sexually molesting our daughter and got everything she wanted and I got almost nothing. I laid low. I eventually was able to prove an extensive pattern of lying by my Ex. Both the court appointed psychologist and court counselor totally flipped. I eventually won total custody. I was assaulted annually for about a decade by the Ex-, usually during visitations. She was of equal size, weight, and strength. She often used weapons (pogo stick, baseball bat.) I reported every incident to the police and to the courts. Several times the police took confirming photos of sizable bruises. Despite the evidence, the DA and the court repeatedly did nothing. When our daughter was in the third grade, I asked her where she would like to live if something were to happen to me. Her two choices did not include Mom. I figured the best witness to her choices and reasoning would be the court counselor. The counselor apparent asked about her relations to her mother. She told about a fight she had with her mother on the school grounds several months earlier. At the next court hearing, the judge on his own initiative issued a permanent restraining order. Several months later, the Ex- came by, wanting to borrow some money. She had stopped payment on a prior check, so I refused to loan her any more money and went back to work. She kicked me in the genitals. I landed on the ground in a fetal position and was wiped out for nearly two weeks. The DA finally took action and the court issued an arrest warrant. They made on effort to execute the warrant and dropped the warrant in less than a year. The Ex- was never inconvenienced for any of her antics at any point. The daughter has wanted nothing to do with her mother for over thirty years now, but gets along fine with all her other maternal relatives (and me.)

How can you have charges dropped or set aside or sealed in the state of Arizona , still on probation enrolled in medical school and law school to pursue employment.

My friend was arrested last Friday for texting while driving. He had a previous fourth-degree assault charge, but failed to appear in court in 2020. Despite a prior assault charge from 13 years ago, he has demonstrated good behavior by completing an alcohol program, community service, and anger management classes. The alleged victim has made a statement to have the charges dropped from his record. I am very concerned that my friend may lose his job in customer relations manager at a prominent bank and his new house due to this recent arrest. His Mom and dad have not found out trying to keep it under wraps. He just purchased a house less than one month away.

Boom, my wife files for an order of protection, the police come and tell me to get out, and 2 weeks later my wife filed for divorce. The judge, a female, ejected me from my house for 1 year.
