I thought I'm the only one who cared about beyblade metal series. None of my friends watched it. But finally find someone who still cares about metal saga

If the metal series will ever get another season, I’m sure that Ryuga would be brought back. He is easily the most liked character in the series by far. Also in my opinion his ”death” wasn’t made very official if you know what I mean. There was no confirmation that he actually died, he just disappeared like you said. I’m just so disappointed if we will never get any continuation to the metal series😞

Actually doji never died, he survived till metal fury and by the fall his body got paralyzed but his brain still worked

Ryuga was total MVP of Metal Masters: 1. He advised Tsubasa about how to beat the dark power, which resulted in victory in Tsubasa's matches against Wales, Sophie and Argo. 2. He practicaly had training with Gingka in order to help him master true powers of Galaxy Pegasus, and that knowledge helped Gingka defeat Julian and making GanGan Galaxy advance to the final round. 3. He advised Gingka not to underestimate team Starbreaker 4. He saved GanGan Galaxy from loss in the final round by defeating Jack 5. L-Drago's intervention and damaging of Spiral core saved Pegasus and Striker from Tempo's special move 6. Ryuga again helped Gingka later by stopping core's meltdown using his L-Drago and supporting Pegasus

In real, there really is no way to know if Ryuga dies or not, he is know to appear and disappear at will

There's also the fact that Ryuga had been shown to disappear and shown up, seemingly out of nowhere, so it's entirely possible that he just teleported away using L-Drago. I mean, if Pegasus can catch and carry Gingka, then L-Drago can teleport Ryuga as far as I'm concerned.

The writers better come up with a good explanation for him to physically come back after he pulled a “I don’t feel so good” move 😂 So is he alive? Yes and no. He’s alive and well in the manga, but because the anime was written WAY differently, it’s either he’s dead, or it looked like he did because it was written on purpose, but somehow came back. Adachi has already talked about this in his Patreon.

He reappeared in the shogun steel manga; he fought the dragoon guy and said something about royal blood. Don't really remember what chapter it was though.

Another reason I forgot to mention is a plot change which is the most probable. If a plot change is the case and one of the show creators see this lets just act like shogun steel never happened and bring on a real 4th season of metal fight eh 😅. EDIT: Another point I forgot to mention is that we’ve seen Ryuga teleport before (in his 2nd battle with Gingka Metal Masters)

Metal Masters is my personal favourite season of the saga and It’s my favourite show of all time so seeing others still talk about it makes me real happy! While it wasn't in the metal saga, there was a couple instances where characters died in the original beyblade...but more on that later. Ryuga is most definitely living, while we haven't seen him since metal fury, Sakiyo brought him up, plus he's alive in the manga. Like you said, nobody died in metal saga (besides Doji ig, but he pulled a Dr Gero) Ryuga lives...end of story.

King Variares, I just wanted to bring up a correction to your 4th reason. While bladers have come back to life in beyblade, Rago and Pluto permanently died along with Nemesis. Even King Hades, who created Nemesis, died when Nemesis was defeated the first time. I do believe that Ryuga survived the Nemesis crisis, and your other reasons are sound.

Call me weird but i did not like ryugas character in metal fury. In metal masters he took no sides and he did what he thought was right. Helping those who he thought needed to be helped and being an enemy to those he thought they were. In metal fury he became the type of person he hated. Which doesnt make a lot of sense. He became an ambitious and power hungry megalomaniac. Wanting to be an emperor and only caring about increasing his own strength and putting it above other people and even the whole world while in danger. He even wanted gingkas power.. which if it wasnt for gingka ryuga would have died during his battle with him in fusion. This of course changed once ryuga met kenta.. and his serious interactions with kenta were brief moments where i came to respect his character again.. as it showed that he still had respect for the world and the people around him deep down. However when he came to fully realise that it was already too late. As the only thing keeping him alive was the star fragment he gave kenta. Or dude might have just teleported and got away with it. Who knows? Ryuga is a respectful character to an extend. But you gotta admit for some parts in metal fury he was no different than doji or zygurat who he despised. Greedy and ambitious. Putting others at risk because of his ego. And lets not forget that parts of the world were destroyed because of ryuga backing out of zeuses barrier because his ego got to him again. People are fangirling over ryuga because of his strength but when you slowly grow up you start to realise he did not do good things.
